Some great softball yesterday including an ITB game and a come from behind walk-off win.

 

Great weather and more great softball forecasted today and tomorrow including some games among district rivals. 

 

Come by College Street Fields A, B and C starting at 11 am today and 9 am tomorrow to enjoy the weather, good food and cheer on these young ladies.

History repeats itself! The Lady Hawks were down 8-5 to Bridge City in the last inning, bases loaded, 2 outs, with Taylor Cowart at the plate. She got the pitch she wanted.....Walk-off Grand Slam! Lady hawks win 9-8. Raylie Huff was on the mound for the win.  2 wins in the Tournament, both on walk-off Grand Slams!

The Lady Hawks take on Lumberton at 3pm on Field C

Lumberton 3  HJ 2 (walk-off tables turned for HJ as Alexis Lee hits walk-off single for win.  It was a very good game)

LCM 18  Westbrook 0 (3 home runs for Lady Bears - Villanueva GS, Mills 2R and Fraccastoro Solo)

Vidor 9   BC 2 (Andrus HR for Lady Pirates)

Congratulations to the Hardin Jefferson Lady Hawks for taking 1st place in the SETX Kick-off classic.  HJ took down Vidor 6-2 and LCM 5-1 in back-to-back games today.  The Lady Hawks under the direction of first year coach Christina Jaques hustled all weekend and will be a force in local 3A district play.  LCM took 2nd place.

 

Congratulations are also in order for the JV Nederland Bulldogs who finished their tournament campaign undefeated.   Vidor JV took second place.
