Kennard vs. West Sabine Games 1&2/West Sabine wins 2-1, 15-5, advances

Games 1&2 of a Class 1A area round best of 3 series from Grapeland High School in Gapeland at 6 pm.  Game 1 began last night but was suspended due to weather in the bottom of the 5th inning with West Sabine leading 2-0.  That game will resume in the 5th inning and be played to completion with Game 2 starting about 30 minutes after.

Should a Game 3 be necessary, it will be played tomorrow at 2 pm in Woodville.

The winner of this series will face the winner of the Big Sandy/Cushing series.
