1. The kid must be huge if he's bigger than blue's son!!!!
 2.
Woo did not mean to ruffel the hawk feathers just ask how a team that gives up 63 points and scores 0 could have anyone that can play D1 ball. Just thought dad might have pulled a few strings after all he went there ;). But I am glad to see Lamar trying to get a few homegrown players to stay at home. And I will be sure to let you know were he will play college at but you will have to wate untill we get on the hard floor. Its a long time untill then and I dont wont to jenks him and get him hurt. You know that a college will jerk a offer so fast if a kid gets hurt when he is still in high school. Just thought that having it out when he was still a Jr was a little premature, but wish him the best of luck.
Yes, you did mean to ruffle feathers, just admit it. You wonder why your such a target on this board, well it's because of assinine comments like you made, bringing up things like that. Basically your degrading the playing ability of a kid you don't even know.
 3.
How does a team that is suppose to have a D1 signed tightend Jr get shutout  :o Does Huffman have players going stright to the NFL? ??? Or did politics have anything to do with the signing :o
What team has you son signed up to play for in college, True Blue????  Lazeek he wasn't really on the depth chart at H-J, thats why daddy moved him again! Despite the excuse that his trailer was damaged during a tornado. There's other places for rent in the H-J school district!!!
 4. Swag, what do you mean our playoff run will last 6 more years since Bosha is the last of the Mohicans. Souldn't it just be 4 more years since he is a freshman and you obviously don't know where he lives. Everybody technically "lives across the tracks" in China and Nome.
 5. I know the H-J jv can't beat the Legacy or Kountze varsity.  Where is Sislbee??? ;D ;D
 6.
this WHOLE thread needs to LEARN ENGLISH.   if some of these folks posting in this thread went to ktz or hj you guys need to hit the books.
Your sentences should start with capital letters and it should be "If some of you folks posting on this thread went to Kountze or Hardin-Jefferson then you need to hit the books."   ;D ;D ;D  And it's not English they need to learn, it's grammer!!
 7. I don't think there will be any games this week due to finals.
 8. We actually have more tall kids this year than last!! Once again your trying to stir things up andyou don't know the whole story. Why don't you come out tuesday and check things out at the tournament.
 9. The economically disadvantaged can transfer to whatever school they want.
 10. Come on Guys - it'way too early to start this stuff.  Let's just finish this season first.  Silsbee still has two games to play.  Geeeeez.
When would prefer us to talk about this.  Sheeeez. Don't read it if it bothers you.
 11. I hear Trueblue"s son has already been flapping his gums about starting at H-J and giving his imput about who will play where and so on. Bad way to start off with team mates saying they suck!
 12. H-J starting 5 next year. 1. Gus 2. Proudhome 3. Sutherland 4. Pershon 5. Anderson What do you think?
 13.

Venable earned his way into the starting line up this season after about 10 games or so...........he is important but not a vital part to HJ.....he will be replaced with Prudhome in the starting line up next season.  Ricossa........well what can you say about this kid.  He will be tough to replace but after two knee issues over the last two years I can see either Persohn, Sadien or even the sophomore to be Carr  stepping in and helping out on the glass and rebounding.  I am not sure but I would say that Ricossa is averaging less than 5 points a game since his return during district.  The big difference he made was on the press break!!!
Or you sure ?  ;)
what does that mean ??? are you saying he will not be a sophmore next year or he has no chance of being on varsity.??
 14. All of our good players are still playing basketball. ::) ::)
 15. Rocky hit a tree on Grayburg road about two weeks ago.
 16. He didn't start at East Chambers, what makes him think he will start at H-J.  H-F is closer to East Chambers, maybe they have a spot for him.
 17.
But Team True Blue is also claiming they are Sour Lake bound.
So let me get this timeline straight. Sophomore year at Evadale, junior year at East Chambers, and now next year, his senior year, at Hardin-Jefferson. Who does he think he is, Troy House? I will be very surprised to see him at HJ.
We do have a couple of openings on J.V. for him.
 18.

Ozen Freshman team is the best freshman team in this area...District Champs 20-2
Nederland's freshmen group has an argument there...they are CO DISTRICT champs with Ozen by the way and finished the season at 31-2...Nederland and Ozen split on the season at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in district...the only lopsided game of the four was Nederland's first win by over 20 against Ozen early in the year...Ozen has a great team, but to say they are clearly the best freshman team in the area without doubt is highly debatable
I have to agree with Razor. Nederland freshman are awesome players and are well coached, they are the only team that i don't think we have ever beaten through junior high and now high school.
