1. Whats the record. I think it's somewhere in the high 60's.

Many of US were never caught!!!!! ;) ;)
Many of US were never holding camps to teach children how to conduct themselves.
Many of US went 365 days without causing a fight, getting drunk in public, struggling with police, getting "dehydrated", etc.
 3. Knowing what Ozen has this year as far as a team I don't see the Hunter boy's making much of an impact this year. Probably both would have been starters at H-F this year.IMO
 4. Nash you know he is moving his kids to Ozen because BISD schools are Academically Excellent, I mean Recognized, I mean Acceptable. And not to mention the extremely low crime rate in the Ozen attendance zone!!
And Ozen would blow H-J's basketball team out of the water.  Don't forget to add that one.  Do you think those kids actually wanted to go to H-J over Ozen for basketball?
i think he was saying that H-F is one of the highest ranking schools academically  in the area, so why would you move your kids from there and send them to a lower performing school unless it was for "athletic " purposes. And Ozen should beat H- J in basketball since they have about 1,000 more students in which to pick a basketball team. But I guarantee you we would give them a run for their money.
 5. Is he really up to 6' 7"?  I was thinking a couple of inches shorter.
I thought he was 6' 8".

Everyone's address in Fannett say's Beaumont.!!!
Dang I have nothing to do now.....I had all my match ups in my phone already.... :'(
You can come to Atoscasita to watch them play today. First game is at 2 p.m. and the second one is at 5. Not sure if Bosha is back playing yet though. Sammy  should be playing at 4 with the 15 year olds. You should recognize several others on the team from other local teams.
 8. HF still have the bigs, speed, and new attitude. ;)
But are they big enough, fast enough and playing with the right attitude??
 9. Don't worry Nederland fans. H-J lost alot and it was predicted by several that we would not go far last year or the year before or the year before, or................! ;D ;D ;)
 10. Mostly varsity in Kountze.  H-J plays Kountze at 8 on moday.
Does anyone know if they are still playing summer league or is the "season" over?
Two more weeks of ball in Kountze.  Bosha does not seem to be hurt bad, i think rest is all he needs for now!

I can assure you that HJ is focused squarely on the Black Cats. And that the people stirring the pot and talking trash on here are SILSBEE fans, that are deep down inside hoping that the Hawks trip and fall!!!! Good luck tonight First Down....come introduce yourself to me.  I will be the smaller of the two guys broadcasting the game!!!!! ;) ;) ;D ;D
Ahhhh, so now we know why you chose him as your broadcasting partner!!!!!  And all along he thought it was because of his color commentary!
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are not right for that.....you know that there are other reasons.....
Not smaller, just shorter!!
 16.

Is that what I said? Sutherland is great high school coach. Shawn needs to get a AAU coach or college level coach to teach him some ball handling skills and how to pull up for some 10-15 foot jumpers. Playing AAU ball and playing better competition in the Houston and Dallas area can help him. DC played against mostly 5A and out of state talent last summer and it helped him to play better. Shawn and Bosha both have very rare skill sets that can be maximized by playing against some of the big boys over the summer. If you put both of them on Sneeds AAU team this summer, you better watch out for HJ next year. They will win state off those 2.
Prudhomme and Bosha are already on a AAU team together!!!
There on Team Sneed.
 17. Why is it almost every thread has AAW talking about betting someone?? Sounds like an obsession problem there!!!
 18. Both teams shot terrible tonight. I think it's time for H-f to get a new gym, I thought i was at the junior high gym.
 19. "Since you don't live our I guys you know it all" ???
 20.
I do understand that in order to like girl sports you really have to have a kid playing. I do not watch it on TV but I also do not watch the men on TV until March Madness. That being said I do not believe that the schools are doing this to promote the girls. Why would they do that? At Orangefield we have good crowds at both rather we are winning or losing and so does HJ. When my daughter was a senior they played at HJ and the gym was packed. Both of those schools do not need the boys game to fill the gym for them. Maybe the support is not there at other schools during down years? OF and HJ does not have that problem. Yes, OF has had some down years. Not many though. All in all it is, how well does a community support their team? If some of you guys had a girl and a boy playing your thinking would change. I think if you ask the kids themselve's, most of them like it. The guys want to see the girls play and the girls want to see the guys play. Before they only got to see each other play when their school held a tournament. Also how nice would it have been for Todd Sutherland to watch his daughters play on a regular basis. I know he chose that profession but he would have liked to see his daughters play more. Instead he had to watch film. To say that they changed to help the girls crowd is "Hog Wash". I have seen some girls do fantasic things with a basketball in their hand. Some had the boys going "WOW". ;) ;)
It's not "hogwash", just tellingt you what the coaches told me. :)
 21. This was done pure and simple to get more people to watch the girls games. ::)
 22. "but let's not act like every game is a packed house"  Blasphemy!!! ;D ;D
