I respect everyone's predictions on here. I will say though that I don't think Dayton has ever given up 38 to BH. I think Dayton wins fairly easily but if there were to be an upset I think BH will have to find a way to keep Dayton in the 20's. Maybe like a 24-21. Oh well can't wait for the game.

BH is looking for the upset. The key is not to turn the ball over and control the line of scrimmage. Dayton on the other hand needs to utilize their need for speed and accurately pass the ball weather it be for long or short.  BH with the upset 38 - 34

I'll have to disagree.  First, you have an official who has no pads to protect him, not anticipating any contact, and he gets blindsided by the initial hit, then as he hits the ground, he's speared with a helmet.  Don't have to be a Dr. to know he could have received a serious injury up to and including a broken back.  
Second, although in my time I've hollered at many that they were goofy, blind, etc, Referee's are (were?) off limits for contact.  Just belly bumping one (umpire) in baseball gets you thrown out. 
Lastly, IMO, if the punishment to the two players AND the School is not severe enough, you'll have more incidents like this, tainting HS football in Texas, which is something none of us want.  Just an old mans opinion.

I do not think you you have ever sat on a grand jury - it is amazing to me the number of times crimes are committed by the same people - after being found guilty and serving jail time they still commit crime after crime.  I know that it may not be a fair comparison but the fact is that people young and old do commit "mistakes" time after time even after they know the consequences.  
A "mistake" is a mistake until it turns into a crime which in this case - in my opinion - it has.
 

What does the NFL have to do with it? 
Nothing.... BUT, if a player from the NFL assaults someone, I want him arrested. If you haven't noticed, many of them have been. 
As far as the "coming back", they are paid millions by millionaires and are under contract. There is a huge different between a person that you contract and a student that plays a voluntary sport with strict rules on behavior. The comparison with pro sports is just plain silly. A millionaire might be able to hire a great defense team and beat a murder rap. Does that mean we should do away with penalties for murder? 
A mistake is forgetting to do your homework and claiming the dog ate it. Committing what might be an intentional felony assault is not a "mistake". If any of the players is 17, he is already an adult and can face the maximum criminal sentence. I am not suggesting that they should get 20 years in prison but they shouldn't get away with it because, "the NFL doesn't get punished enough" or it was just "a mistake". 

Hope I'm wrong , but it appears that since the COISD board members and superintendent  decided to get rid of COACH  BARBAY our Football program might be headed back to the dark ages.

​Im not speaking for Bryan and wouldn't try. He's not going there to be the HC and this is a little different from being the man in charge of everything to being an assistant. Ive been to the mountain top and have had to step down. Its not easy. I asked myself can I do this and how long can I do this? I think anyone would be a little nervous. Just my opinion.

This is what it is beginning to sound like...  What is the Coldspring administration going to do when he resigns on the last possible day to resign?  Especially if his staff is on board with the same and they all leave as well... Will be tough to find a decent staff at that point, You would think they would at least pay him off or do something to protect themselves against being left high and dry??

He is still in charge. Its up to him if he is going any where or not. I don't see him going to another program to be someone else's assistant unless its for Art Briles or Kevin Sumlin!!

Hopefully they will move fast if they're going to let him go. I hear there is an opening in Lumberton. This is a guy who will have no issue finding a better job.

I forgot Shepherd is so almighty. Please give me a break. Those athletes in Coldspring are not bad at all. Academically they are capable of doing great in the classroom. I think it's you that needs a wake up call.

Get rid of the superintendent and elect a new school board. You won't find a better coach or AD to replace Bryan.
