Just seen BISD won't start til the 11th..Does that mean no football games for week 2??

With the water outages and just some of  the flooding in SETX do yall think the same thing could happen next week with the game cancellations??

Good list, but I think you need to add 2003 North Shore ..Thats a team that was very underrated and is probably one of the best as far as talent and coaching

Probably the best 30for30 I've seen since that Michigan Basketball one 

Now I wouldn't say Carter is the best highschool Team, but I would say they probably had the most talent (28 college football signees and 4 NFL players, and probably more if thoes kids don't make thoes bad choices)

Yea , like I stated in a post before, they got some grown men at the brook this season and probably the most talented team in the area this year..Would love to see how Johnson looks against these guys .

They very well did...Bulldogs had hands on hips after the 1 series, while the pirates never really looked like they got tired ..S.O to the Deweyville Coaching staff

Tried to make it to that one, but I promised a friend I would come see his first game between Kelly and Deweyville ....

How did your team look from the scrimmmage. I know is just a glorified practice and coaches aren't showing much,  but how did you feel your team look? Better then you thought or not as good as you thought?

I was able to make it to 1 game Thursday night (#2South Panola vs #1Clinton, Mississippi)  a few scrimmages (Memorial, LCM, Legacy, Kelly) and a few practices (Westbrook, Central) around the area and just my opinion (correct me if I'm wrong) but Just going by my observations (hurts to say lol) Westbrook is the best team in this area. I went to the practice this morning with a friend of mine and really liked what I saw as far as just athleticism and size on the outside...

I was in attendance, Kelly's 1st string looked like the better unit but Depth will really be an issue...After the first series they were tired from going both ways, and the 2nd string wasn't to good from the looks of it 

For the pirates that offense will really help them be able to slow things down and control the clock,..That last drive was pretty good, methodically drove the ball down the field 

no bias just coming from Mississippi and decided to stop and check out some Texas HS football

Crosby has improved from being a perennial 3rd or 4th place team in district to being the consistent top team in 21-5A, but besides the semifinal run 3 years ago we can't get past the second round. Until we can put 2 to 3 rounds on the books in most seasons we can't be considered an elite team. With that said, Crosby has a better program than 94.35% of all setx programs. 

94.35%?? That's a lot of teams..I would probably say 85%

Why are we just giving it straight to WOS? Because they won back to back state titles with a really good group and a really good QB who was the one who kept that train on the track. Newton is just as consistent as them we been to 5 State Games. We have had what 26 or 27 straight playoff appearances, we have made it to atleast the second round of the playoffs for atleast 15 years in a row. I'm just saying Newton is no pushover and we have to atleast be in the conversation. It's not just WOS and everyone else. I agree, Everyone just says W.O.S but Newton has been just as consistent as the Mustangs ..I feel y'all are a really close 2nd with WB right on both you guys hills

I agree, I think Westbrook however is very underrated for the success they have, but W.O.S is a clear cut #1 with everyone else fighting for 2nd
