With all the talk of dominant regions among sports; I'm curious as to why one region is dominant year in and year out moreso than others. I see it on all sports boards across various sports.
So, is one region better because they just happen to have 3-4 schools that are on another level compared to the rest of the state? Is it because there are a group of coaches camping in that region that are elite and wold win a SC no matter where they were at? Is it something in the water that makes kids grow up benching 225 at the age of 9?
I'm all seriousness, why are some regions just dominant over a 15-20 year span? -
+1I have a problem with four or five team districts. It's to easy to make the playoffs. If your going to put four teams into the playoffs at lest have six plus team districts. Make teams have to earn the playoffs.

I'm not sure how I feel about only 2 teams but 4 is rediculous any way you look at it. I liked the system where it was 3 teams with the 1 seed getting a bye. That way they get a reward for winning district.

That's what I'm getting at, people have been givin you garbage all year and you've been giving it right back and rightly so with Crosby's success. It just gets me that some kid wrote Code red is dead and you act like they took shots at your mom or something.Not in this head nor a hard case unless your definition is witty comebacks for a team that was waaaaaaay more successful than whatever team u support. It's all good I can take your popshots but I can dish em too with no regrets or crow either, Crosby took care of that thank you very much!!

What's humorous abut all of this is the guy who has been a hard case all year going toe to toe with anyone on this site let a 14 year old with a sharpie and posterboard get into his head.
