Gonna be a helluva game!!! It will be won or lost in the trenches. Can PNG stop the dynamic running attack of SOC? Can PNGs o-line keep SOC d line pushed back enough to open gaps for Nguyen and Chatangier? Can PNG secondary stop SOC? Can PNG receivers win the one on one battles that SOC loading the box is going to create? Can PNG line hold up against the rush that is going to be coming on passing downs? I can't wait to find out the answers to these questions!!!! GO PNG!!!!

This is a scary game to me. Huntsville is easy to look past due to their less than stellar record. I know coach Joseph will have the boys focused and ready to go!!!! PNG 35 Huntsville 21

Lol kinda what I was saying on the TC vs Ned thread. We act like after last years team we we're expecting a DC, I guess cause we've been use to recent success and last year kinda left us wondering how decades of culture can get destroyed in a single year (but it's possible) but our district record is a typical one for Ned and a playoff appearance is usual as well. Just kicking it back to the 05-08 squads again, let's hurry and repeat 2011-2015 please. Let's go our normal two rounds deeps and watch the state championship from the sidelines as tradition entails
Nederland will be rolled by TC and blown out by 50 plus in the first round. This is not about a #5 PNG team. It is about a program that has lost its edge and ability to keep players within the program. It is time for a change.

Nederland is gonna have a hard time beating Dayton. That QB is legit. Hopefully Nederland can pull off the upset!! I'd love to see the kids win against Dayton. Still gotta go with Dayton in this one.

Nah it's been baaaad football, I can honestly say this isn't that Nederland Football that we grew up knowing or should I say the Neumann years. But the kids aren't as tough nosed like the past, as a whole they aren't 'dogs" and I do think it comes from up top!! Barrow is a laid back coach, and the kids are going to have the same mentality as the Head Coach. I do think they have a quality coaching staff, but there isn't a fire from up top like when Neumann was there. The kids really aren't THAT talented, they're a very FEW that are. Walker, Thomas, Tezeno, and Holyfield, after that yikes, are they better than last year...yes! But will it show up on the scoreboard this year, probably not. Which means Barrow is probably gone. Just my two cents
If the losing continues we this year we can only HOPE he is gone. With this good ole boy mentality in Nederland, I have my doubts.

I think the Dogs win the battle of the cellar dwellers this week!!!

Zero surprise in this one. Nederland put up a pretty good fight. I'm proud of the kids from Nederland. PAM was simply superior in every aspect of the game.

Tough row to hoe for the dogs..Saw some improvement but cant get past special teams..Don't think we made an extra point, no chance for a field goal.
Sad as we have a whole team of soccer players

People might not like Klein, but he does not bs when exposing corruption & lies by people in charge of running counties, cities, school districts etc. I would bet the people he calls out on SETX POLITICAL REVIEW for lies & corruption are major Douches also😎
There is so much I could say... but this is not the forum for it.

7 years huh? Sounds vaguely familiar.
Don't read this... apparently there's alot of factors to it. There's much more to this article than what I quoted. It's at the bottom of the page, so I don't know how long it will be posted.
Nederland Tax Mess – Bailing Out
Well, another shocker. Remember how we told you that the actual census for the schools in Nederland was down by almost 400 children? Well, add another 230 to that for a whopping 600 plus students gone from NISD.
SETX political review is an extremely untrustworthy page. Klein is a class A douche. He holds some personal grudge against Nederland.

Scott Rich named as new Nederland HC/AD

The band and band parents are very important. Having them seated so far away completely takes them out of the view of the parents who care very much. The football experience is more than just the game. It is the band, drill teams, twirlers, inflaters, cheer leaders, etc. I think bands can influence momentum of a game.
On another note, I am STOKED to see what the Coach Rich can do with Nederland!!!! I'll be happy to be competitive this year!!!! I can't WAIT for football season!!!
