Just think,, this could have been true. Dayton did put the 8th grade team in after the half. Is that cheating or just good sportsmanship?????

Funny how a BH fan posts some rumors after getting beat 54-0.. Im laughing now like I was laughing Friday night.

Rollin, glad to see that you woke up for football season. RZ, welcome and you will get some good ol trash talkin' from the Dayton crew on here and some intelligent football smack from a few. But, you will have to wait till yall play BH for the stupidity to come out on the boards.

Here are the two things that stood out to me in this game. First of all, I dont know how much Dayton payed for the scoreboard but it was never updated with downs or timeouts and the person running it must have just been any kid from the stands. They let 24 seconds run off during a timeout. Thats not even counting alot of other times that they didnt know when to stop the clock, even though the ref signaled to stop it. The second thing that stood out is how #20 gives up on balls and blocks. There we times that he didnt even put his hands out to attempt to catch a ball and then while a running play to his side he blocked for about 2 seconds and just quit and his guy made the tackle. I love the tight ship that the Dayton coaches run. When #9 fumbled on the kickoff return he threw his helmet to the benches. Then a coach was in his face before his helmet even hit the ground. Good job..

The Hill for Real? The Hill has NEVER been for real in 4A football. This year will be the same, keep dreaming about beating Dayton and maybe someday it will rain about 5 inches during the game and BH might get a win. It could happen once in 12 years.. BHFAN said that football is then only thing that DISD can cheer about. You just think that we only cheer about football because our season is longer than BH's every year. How big is Rip? height/weight? Benching 500 is unheard of in HS.. I remember my senior year when I put up 185 and I was stoked. I dont think we even had a guy on the team that put up 3 bills. Has he talked college yet?

Football season is back and every year there is some guy that dont have a clue just predicting that someone scores 50 on the Bronc's.. (not gonna happen). TCU may be a good fit but with all of their success lately I bet they can recruit alot better QB then Merka. Houston is a passing team and would not be a good fit either. Maybe Kansas or Baylor would be better fits. LSU would be the place that I would be focusing on if I were Merka but I doubt that he will get an offer and they have a bunch of talent over there that he would have to beat out. If he gets an offer to A&M he better jump on it.

Dayton usually schedules Friendswood and they own us early in the year. But, that game usually lights a fire under our butts and we have a great year.. Year after Year.  Then we usually play a team thats a "confidence builder" too.

Are you kidding? Crosby wont schedule Brenham or Dayton unless they get unlucky and get Dayton back in district. I kinda hope that Dayton and Crosby are in different districts because it sure makes alot of fun to beat the (insert four letter word here) out of them in the first round of the playoffs.

Looking at the 4A all state team you gotta say Denton or Denison. 17 players on the all state team combined?  Just kidding.. The best team that I have ever seen would be the 2008 Lake Travis  team or Southlake Carrol when Daniels was there.

The 08 QB talent was great and Cody was in the top 3 in my mind. Everyone knows that Gilbert was the class of 4A and Green and Rollison fighting for 2nd. Where is Rollison at these days?

17 kids from Denison and Denton and neither of them won state? They must have the worst coach in the world. Stevie Ray could have gotten those teams to state. This is totally bias.

If you are playing in Gtown just hope that you are the home team. The visitor side is not that big and the sun is in your face. Well thats what it looked like from the home side last year.

Dayton has a basic set of plays that I have seen them run. Im sure that if its a close game then there will be a few extra plays come out of Stewart. So, if you start bird dogging then you are gonna get beat deep. I see that someone brought up the Crosby game. Just FYI, that was the night that it rained very hard all game.
