  1. I like it the way it is now. Even if you finish 3rd or 4th, you still get to taste the playoffs and we all know how Texas towns come together when their team is in the playoffs. Most of the 3rd and 4th place teams will lose in the first week or two of the playoffs but the ones that survive really deserve to be there.
  2. lol... Im just calling it like I saw it. It dont matter either way, it was a good turnout for both.
  3. I read somewhere that it was 17000... Ofcourse Im not sure how many were SS or Dayton but I think Dayton had more folks. I got in my seat 35 min. before gametime and I had to sit on the 25.. At that same time there were seats on the SS side that you could still sit at the 35 or 40.. Either way it was a good turnout on both sides.
  4. I still dont know how GG is not #1 in the nation. TR is awesome, I agree. I also think that TR was the best QB on the field in San Antonio but Cody is not far behind. Cody made some very good throws and some players had a few drops. What I noticed about Cody is that when SS had good coverage and there wasnt an open reciever, Cody still tried to force the ball. I wish that he would scramble a little more when a pass play was called. We all know when its a run to Cody he does well. If everyone is covered, tuck it and run. Also first and 10 on the 15.... We have been running easily all day and we throw 4 striaght incomplete passes???? ARGHHHH
  5. Wow.. poor sportsmanship at its best. That kid should have to do more then write a letter to the official. That was a pretty blatant assult on the official. The kid that hit him was also a second team all state linebacker. I wonder if whoever names the all state team can go back and take him off of the list and have him named "BoneHead of the Year"
  6. I think Dayton will still be pretty good. I heard that Dayton fooball won district at every level, from 7th grade all the way up to varsity. Im sure that Coach Stewart will have a plan and it will be 14 playoff appearances in a row.
  7. How was that not a pass play? He was looking for a reciever and even pump faked. It looked like a screen that just got busted. I know their kicker could put it anywhere but he kept putting the pooch in that spot. We still would have had Cameron deep. Its not going to change anything but I would have had to try it.
  8. They gave up a sack on the 4th down play that we didnt convert. In the first quarter I think.
  9. WildcatsRule, just think if you had 14 more post, then you would be able to give out some karma. Once again your come up short in your life... Whats NEW??? How is your mom's Pole Burn?? lol.. thats freakin' funny right there.
  10. You have got to be kidding me!!! Cody Green had one heck of a game. TR did not outperform Cody in the state champ game. Yes Cody threw a terrible interception late in the game but you see that in alot of games when players are trying to "make things happen".. I cant wait to see the numbers in this game but for sure Cody Green played as good as anyone in the state in San Antonio...
  11. Lake Travis is awesome and I cant wait to see GG throwing TD passes for the Longhorns. I sure HOPE that AJ Dugat will be on the end of some of the passes. AJ reminds me of Barry Sanders, the way he can change directions, so easy... Good luck to both.
  12. I couldnt find it.. Please send another link..
  13. It really dont matter who is the best team in the state... Whoever bring home the trophy is the CHAMP for a year!!! Dfield won it and they deserve the credit. Just like SS, Lake Travis and Katy.... Good year and you have a target on your back for next year.
  14. TR was OK.. He had Oak Trees for offensive linemen. they were GREAT!!! TR had a good arm and put the ball where it needed to be but I saw that whenever he got in trouble that he just threw it deep. Yes, he threw is 60 yards deep but it was desperation and didnt really have anyone open. But, with an arm like that you can just launch it and out throw everyone on the field. No big deal I guess. He still cant hold Garret Gilberts jock strap but he is GOOD... I look forward to seeing the matchups with him at Kstate and Cody Green at Nebraska.. If that is where he goes.. Have I mentioned that WildcatsRule still sux???
  15. I agree. They deserved the State Championship.. But, the Sooners still dont deserve to be in the National Championship game. The Longhorns beat them, fair and square on a nuetral site. We got screwed, and feel free to give me some karma on this post...
  16. OK.. here we go.. SS had the better team today.. I am giving praise to the team and I feel they were the best team i SA.. Im not being nit-picky but AJ Dugat was by far the best player on the field. I just dont understand why the Bronco coaches didnt put him in the "spot" where every SS kickoff went to. We did have a bad fumble in the red zone in the first half that sucked but the onside kick by SS got us too. Cody Greena and TR played one heck of a game. I guarantee RESPECT from both teams. The biggest respect that I give to anyone that was on that field would be to the running back #4 for SS.. I ran across him on the riverwalk and he was a class act. He was very respectful (even though I was talking crap, and not happy),, It was nice to meet him and he is any parents pride and joy. He kinda reminded me of a greased pig at a county fair. Very hard to catch and slipped alot of tackles. Being beat by SS is kinda like being beat by Lake Travis. Its kinda funny, when you get beat by a better team, it just dont hurt so bad. But I gotta say that WildcatsRule,,, you still suck... and I hope to meet ya when Im in your area this year at a rodeo. I wish that we could just play each other every week all year long and I still feel that the TWO BEST TEAMS in 4A division 2 played for the State Championship today and the best team won.. WildcatsRule You can put your crow in your ear, your nose, your mouth, and any other hole that i missed...lol.. you suck still.. It was fun..
  17. Well its LAST CHANCE for the 2 or 3 people that are still in Dayton. You can still leave now and make it to the alamodome before kickoff. WHOS HOUSE? Bronco's
  18. Rollinac,, You missed out, big time tonight. There were just Bronco chants all over the riverwalk tonight. The SS folks just had thier heads down because they knew that they were wayyyy outnumbered... BRONCOS ROLL.... 49 to 42... STATE CHAMPS 2008..
  19. Wow.. I just got home from the riverwalk and dang..... Dayton fans out number SS fans by about 10 to 1.. I saw at least 1000 purple shirts to 100 SS kitty kats.. I walked around saying WHO'S HOUSE and all over the riverwalk I heard BRONCOS.. I also ate dinner with Coach Stewart and all of the Bronco's at the Hard Rock Cafe on the riverwalk. All I gotta say is that "Its on like a pot of neck bones" The bronco fans are representing DAYTON to the fullest. It was awesome tonight. I look forward to seeing double the amount of fans on the BRONCO side...
  20. Stinky City??? That narrows it down. Are you talking about Baytown, Pasadena, or uhmmm SA?
  21. Good. I think that he has the goods to play at the next level. Smart kid with good size and ofcourse very athletic. Surprised he hasnt been trying to get AJ up there with him. Or, has he?
  22. The Dry cleaners are closed?? Wow.. The only way to tell if Dayton is actually closed is Thrif-tees. If Thrif-tees is closed, everyone should be in SA
  23. Are they still talking about Cody playing QB or is he moving to reciever?
  24. On the record??? Is that the same as "Real Talk"?? lol.. Yeah I agree but I think its gonna be 49 to 28 in LT's favor.
