Exactly what I saw on the film I watched, They will get some rushing yards with that big line. We will have to slow down #5 , he is big and quick.  Qb not near as fast as the kid from Cuero. Their LB's and DB's can't match the speed, we should be able to run wide and throw anywhere.

This is now a dead horse, but there was much denial about this. Check out this youtube video . @‌ 30 Sec mark hold on #52,  At the 40 - 45 second mark flagrant block in the back by #21 , how in the world did a Ref miss this call.  and then a hold on the DB. 1:33 second mark Hold on #58 . I can see how some of these could have been missed , but not the blocks in he back , of not one, but two players. Should have been no score on that play. I'm sure if we viewed the entire film , there would be more. Those Refs should be kicked down to youth football.

I think ozensfinest is Mightymouth in disguise , such outright jealousy and hate. How bout you cruise on over to the east Texas boards and post the same about Gilmer and Navasota and  Celina  or any other team that has a great history of going deep every year. Guess what they have all lost to better teams. I wish BISD had some schools that could give us a game, keep us from going to Houstom to find teams that can help us get better. And you have to nerve to bring up Foster,  See if you can get any BISD team to schedule them,  

WOS will go to NRG to play in a SC game, win or lose the game - These kids are Winners .

 

Great win for the Mustangs, Played a heck of a game, Coach T and staff had them ready to play. Yeah we did get cheated out of a touchdown on the scrum play. If the obvious holding and pass interference calls were made this game would not have been close.  And yes there were some nocalls on us also. All of that said Hats of  to a very good Cuero team,  they came to play.

I think we will match up very well with Celina, they do have some size. But nothing new to us. And as far as wearing us out, I have yet to see a Mustang Team wear out.

This being an SC game, I expect SC caliber ref crew.

WOS Defense is solid, if the offense protects the ball . We win out.

They both have done very well, really hated to see Baldwin leave , great defensive skills and a heck of a power runner. He had a huge game in the SC game last year.

I also seem to remember he worn different color shoes.  And yes pretty sure Kevin Smith was on that team.

They had the state rushing leader , I remember he was #33 , WOS middle LB Jeff Knox was also #33, they met up close on the first play. Jeff slobber knocked him if I remember right. he had a bad afternoon.  The next week we got the new rushing leader Randy Simmons from McKinney . he was a really sore looser.

Defensive front and Linebacker corps did a super job last night keeping Bellville bottled  up . With the O sputtering and with turnovers they kept us in the game. But you gotta have it all to get to the big dance and win it. 

Thanks for the breakdown KJ dad , always enjoy your analysis. Spot on. I look for Bellville to do what got them there, but I believe they are well aware of how many Slot/Wing T teams we see, and control . They will try some new wrinkles, razzle dazzle which usually does not fool the chain gang. We play good solid defense and keep them in front of the Safety's, gonna be a long night for the Brahma's .

We have never been shy at lining up with much larger schools and teams. Sure we have lost some of those games . And it feels bad , but we learn from every contest. Not many teams in the state play that kind of schedule. 

If I am not mistakin #13 Dearings dad played linebacker for WOS. He also was a hit man.

Will be a tough test for the young stangs, Does not really matter what we believe , they believe they can win .   If I remember correctly we got banged  up in this game last year. Hoping for an injury free Win !!!

KOGT is not going to carry this game. I expect this to be a good measuring stick to see where we are. Hope to make it to the game.

Will this game be broadcast ? 

The PNG announcers are something else, I guess typical or HS football, just lets us know how good the KOGT guys are, Kudos Gary Stelly

`I don't know what game you were watching, but Gilmer got shutdown the 1st half. They should feel very lucky WOS played the worst second half they have all year. Can't turn the ball over or drop passes when your playing a good team, and Gilmer is a very good team. WOS has one less turnover and Gilmer losses one of their fumbles, different outcome. WOS wins.

If , If's and but's were candy and nuts , it would be Christmas all year long. Congrats to both teams . The game was as close as the score , that's why they keep it.

Gilmer looks very good. Will and DT and the rest of the DB's will bottle up that long ball stuff. Would like to have seen how they would do against a Lamarque or Lagrange. Celina looked very soft. If WOS comes out fired up like they did against Lamarque , look out Gilmer it will be a tough afternoon.  This should be a very good football game.

Totally my opinion , Cole is super athlete , but had some growing up to do. Rutledge was a loose cannon. I just think Jack came in , listened to the staff and fit right in with a super group. But then I do have to remember we are talking about 16 17 year old kids.

Big props to the O-Line last night. They did an awesome job .
