I WOULD'VE SAID 2 OF THE BETTER TEAMS IN SETX. SO 2 GREAT GAMES, BETWEEN 4 GREAT TEAMS, ON 1 NIGHT, WHICH GAME WILL EACH OF YOU ATTEND? A doubleheader would be sweet!!!

I agree AAW. The girls program has improved tremendously the last two years, but wait till next year. I think this years team will make some noise in the conference tourney and it would not surprise me if they actually win. I'm excited about next year. I can see next years team getting in the NCAA's and possible winning a couple of games. Jenna Plumley will be running the point. Remember she was the starting PG at Oklahoma last year. Also Igoufe will be ready to go. Throw them in with Brittney Williams, Darika Hill, Trashanna Smith and Ang Green. Plus another good recruiting class. Future is very bright for the Lady Cards.

I think you're one game behind bobcat05. We've played 8 district games with 2 to go. HJ 8-0 OF 7-1 HF 4-4 Silsbee ? BC 1-7 WOS 1-7

This is from the article "The same number of schools from each district advance to the playoffs. Twelve champions would be crowned as is done currently."

I could be wrong, but I think this is just for football only. Other sports like volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball will have different districts than football. These other sports would remain in districts like the current setup. If this is just for football only, then I don't have a problem with it. Bring it on!!

OF is 21-5 and I think HJ is 20-6. I might be wrong on HJ.

I agree. Coach Baker has done an really fine job in turning that program around. If he leaves, where is he going? Jasper better try to keep him around.

OLDREF you and your partner tonight did an outstanding job of keeping things in line. Our girls games with BC are always physical, but when I walked in the gym and saw that you were calling our game I felt much better. I hate that this is your last girls game. As always, you were very professional and did an outstanding job. Thank You and best of luck to you.

This should be a good one. Silsbee is playing good right now. If #14(I think her name is Washington) from Silsbee plays like she did against OF, then I like Silsbee's chances. If she can get to the hoop then I think Silsbee wins.

Thanks for the help guys!! ;D I think those of us that put these rankings together will have a major headache Sunday trying to figure this out. If you hear a loud boom coming from Orangefield on Sunday, it's just me banging my head against the wall!!!

No doubt coach, you do have two of the best assistant coaches around and watching your JV is proof of that. Future is bright in HJ. This rivarly looks to be very good for years to come. Best of luck to you, your coaches, and players. The converse were SWEET!!!

Congrats Coach on the win last night. This rivalry has become very exciting and I agree that it's great for girls basketball. Let me say thay you run a class act program their at HJ. That starts with you and your assistant coaches. I was very impressed with your girls last night. They never quit and play the game the way it should be played. I was going to go over after the game and introduce myself, but I had my kids and they were ready to go home. I will try to meet you and hjhawks after the game in HJ. Oh yeah just wanted to tell you I went to the Lamar girls game on Saturday and saw that pic of you they have in the hall of the walk of champions. Congrats!

Orangefield has to put 4 quarters together. They have not done that as of late. They played a great first half Friday night at HF. If they can play a complete game like that against HJ they will be fine, if not, it might be a long night. OF has to protect the ball and not miss those easy shots under the goal.
