I watched Orangefield practice this afternoon. I like the offense. I think it fits our personnel well, it will just take some time to learn it. This is only the second day most of these kids have ran it.

He has brought excitement for the football program back to the community. Thats something that has not been around here for some time.

Not sure of Orangefield's schedule, but they do have to report before 6:30am on Monday!

Ancelot is gone. Her and her husband have already moved to Alaska. She will be coaching on a reservation.

She did get a job in Alaska, but left for personal reasons also. Tidwell hired Emily Spickler as an assistant.

She's moving to Alaska.

Does anyone know if Tidwell has named a replacement for Sondra Ancelot?

I like Orangefield's chances with 8 starters back and the addition of Huckabay who was 24A Offensive MVP!

Kirbyville will move back up to 3-A because they have 452 people enrolled there now and the top number for 2-A is 429 Man, Kirbyville is growing.....It is like they and Lumberton who are actually having a good increase in their school census. Are there any other schools growing a great deal in the area? Orangefield? Silsbee? LCM? Orangefield may have a few more students, but it will not be enough to make a difference as far as realignment goes. I would guess somewhere around 530. They will still be on the lower end of the numbers for 3A.

Good for Memorial. Maybe he can get them back into the playoffs. They have a good group there right now.

I believe the kid is going to be a senior, how can he sit out a year?

I would assume that his mother will stay at HD as the Super. If so, does he come to OF with his dad or stay at HD with mom.

Congrats to Allie! She did have a great senior year. Offensive MVP in Volleyball, 1st Team All District in both Basketball and Softball, and won district in the discus. Best of luck to you at Texas Lutheran!

What goofy crap am I starting? The fact is he has not resigned yet. Do I think it's going to happen, well more than likely, but it has not happend yet. I didn't know stating a fact was goofy!

Coldspring can confirm it all they want, but the fact is he has not resigned from OF per the superintendant. As of now he is still the AD/HC at OF. It's not official until the super has his resignation.

I agree, if it is close going to the 6th or 7th, I would think we would see Hicks again.
