This is a good hire by BISD.  Flanigan is a very good football coach.  I got to know him while he was at Orangefield and knew he would not be in OF long because something bigger would come his way.  Not only is he a good coach, he's a better family man.  He implimented a few programs while at OF that are still in place today.  West Brook got a good one.

Congrats Ty, can't wait to see you play at the next level.

Orangefield vs Giddings Thursday 6:15 Sam Houston State University Huntsville.

The ladies stepped it up tonight.  One of the best games they've played all season.  Huffman was much improved over last season.  That freshman #22 is going to be a good one, I like the way she plays. Next game against Giddings will be a tough one.  Continue to play as a team Lady Bobcats and you will be fine.  Good luck!

If BC beats OF tomorrow then they will be tied and have a play-in game.

If I'm not mistaken, Buna has alot coming back next year.  They will compete for a playoff spot.  WOS and Silsbee will more than likely be 1 & 2, but the 3rd spot is up for grabs.  Any of the remaining teams could take that spot.  It will probably come down to a point difference as it has the past couple of years.  Personally I'm glad to see Buna back in the same district as Orangefield.  The game will mean a little more this next season.  Buna was always our big rival back when I was in school, hopefully it will be again.  I think the game next season will be the 54th between the schools.

I like watching OF play HJ.  It's actually basketball not like the normal football games that girls basketball has become!  hjhawks, you and Coach Davis are class acts as well.  I was the man that came up and shook you and Coach Davis hand after the game.  Good Luck to you and the Lady Hawks!

What happened in the 4th quarter?

I have a question for WOS folks.  Why are there not any banners in the gym for the accomplishments of past WOS girls teams?  WOS has had some very successful girls teams in the past but there are no banners in the gym.  There are banners for the past boys teams but none for the girls teams.

I have Directv, my guide shows Kansas/Kansas St at 7 and Lamar/CC at 9:30.  Is it being tape delayed?

I would assume all of Big Sandy's players were there.  They had more on the bench than Orangefield.  Big Sandy's point guard fouled out but OF was up by double digits when that happened.  OF's pressure got to them.

Orangefield and Big Sandy play Monday afternoon at 3:30 in the Montagne Center followed by the Lamar Lady Cardinals and Rice at 7.

The Lady Cardinals own a 32-game non-conference winning streak at the Montagne Center.  They have not lost a non-conference home game since falling to Oklahoma on Nov. 29, 2006. Tip-off 7pm

[/quote] We've had them in years past, myself and two other put them together.  Like Grad said it was difficult finding scores to be able to keep it updated each week.  It's sad because the girls teams deserve just as much publicity as the boys, but when you can't even find many local scores it makes it difficult to put together a ranking.
