Lee up 14-0 in the first

Barbers Hill should have a field day passing the ball. I say they will win by 3 tds minimum. I don't think LP will be able to run the ball on BH.

I think he was the best to maintain what was already established. SLC and Westlake were already winning under previous regimes. He couldn't build anything at the other HS stops(names escape me) and North Texas. So, there's that
Ok now...
He won state championships 4 out of 5 years with one loss in a one point game i the state championship in the other year. A near 5 year winning streak at SLC.
Takes a Westlake team with five losses and a second round drubbing at the hands of A&M Consolidated the year before he shows up and five years later he goes on to win three straight state championships with one one point loss sandwiched between 45 victories over those three years.
Westlake and SLC were and are consistently great programs. He turned them into two of the greatest dynasties Texas HS football has ever seen.

Yep that dude has no clue what he is doing and gccisd has let it go on for years now! You want to know why Baytown folks fled to BH well here is one reason why! Gccisd does not care about it student athletes enough to get them a good coach! The Lee coach has been good and was a miracle for that program but the other two schools have been left out to dry.
Though I am a Lee fan, I would be satisfied with any of the three getting to a level where they could make some waves in the playoffs. Lee just doesn't have the athletes to do it.
If you go watch the middle schools, you'd think there is no way that Lee ends up being able to hang with Sterling and GCM once they get to high school.
If Lee had the level of athlete that GCM or Sterling has across the boards, they would be undefeated right now. Maybe they can just take one for the team and let the Lee coach head over to GCM or Sterling and give it a go.

LP had two fumbles. Lee had one turnover.
Lee and LP are evenly matched teams. LP probably got a bit too excited whipping teams that anyone with a pulse should whip in Elsik and GCM.
Lee had 400 yards of offense and dominated the second half from the 10 minute mark of the third quarter to the 2 minutes left in the game mark I don't think LP had one first down. Lee just ran out of steam with most of their guys going both ways. Had the ball deep in LPs territory tie ballgame late and just couldn't punch it in then LP comes back with a 90 yard drive to win it.
There is no need to rationalize for LP. They beat a good team in Lee Lee certainly had just as easy a time with Clear Brook as Deer Park did last night and I know DP beat the fool out of LP.
-
Laporte wins 27-20.
Lee had their chances. Two evenly matched teams.
Likely needs to beat BH or PAM now to make playoffs.

I always see North Shore whipping up on everyone and I go to their Hudl expecting 10-12 big time recruits and they really don't usually have it like that. Maybe two or three highly recruited guys and a team full of UTSA and Lamar University guys. Last year's state championship defensive MVP for them is at Grand View, an NAIA college in Iowa.
I feel like they are more like Katy except with just a few notches better athletes across the board. Well coached, execute the game plan, confident in their abilities.

I am a Baytown Lee fan through and through. I did live for six years about five minutes from Ridge Point, so I have some interest in them as well.
i dont know what I have against Crosby. I will need to be really introspective and figure that out perhaps.
I don't think I was being too unreasonable yesterday though. I think Lee has better coaching and Crosby has way better size and athletes. That is my assessment still. I think Lee could have won the game with a near perfect effort. Had Crosby played near perfect they could have probably won by 50.
I just happen to think that there is a higher likelihood of Lee playing at close to their best than Crosby due to the coaching.
I will keep thinking of why I don't like Crosby and see what I come up with.

Lol, but Myles dropping the ball on a wide open screen for a turnover and then scoring on 4th and 11 or Wright muffing a punt and them scoring off T/O wasn’t what kept them in it? GTHOH dude. Lee was lucky to keep it within 20. This is a 55-14 game 8/10 nights. I’m sitting here talking to players as they leave the locker room. Every single one knows it was a sub-par team performance tonight
Sorry but these teams were fairly evenly matched. Lee threw an INT that turned the momentum as well and got an easy TD for Crosby. Failed fourth and one. Rouging the punter to give Crosby the ball again when down two scores in the fourth. Vrosby punt rolling down to the 1 from what was about a 30 yard punt turning into a 55 yard punt.
Lots of opportunities missed both ways.
Crosby is obviously bigger and faster and looks like a formidable 5A team while Lee looks like a 3A team. Lee's coaching and execution keeps them in it though.

Game over.
Crosby wins by 20. If they played 10 times this is about what I would expect the average score to be. Crosby is about 20 points better than Lee. Lee needed to play perfect and the missed 4th and 1 conversion in the 2nd and the roughing the punter in the 4th quarter were back breakers.
Good game Ganders.
-
Little home cooking here these last 8 minutes. Three personal fouls against the Ganders. All very suspect. Would t have thought they would needed to bring out the chef for little old Baytown Lee.
-
34-21 about 9 minutes left.
-
34-14 Crosby early in 4th. Maybe 11 minutes to go.
-
27-14 sorry.
Now moving to the 4th.
-
They are not keeping up with time remaining very well. Has to be late in the 3rd. Still 27-15. Crosby ball in their own 14.
Just said 1:11 left in 3rd.

All of that and you neglected to say Crosby fumbled a punt and another offensive snap for turnovers to give Lee short field for touchdowns. SMH.
Lee has no business being in this game. They have a much better coach that has been able to keep things close.
We will see how it goes in the second half.
I expect Crosby to come out and be a lot fresher and impose their will.
-
Crosby only has three plays. Luckily they work a bit due to their athleticism. Throw right laterally, throw left laterally and chuck it up for grabs down field. Lee has completely shut down any running game.
One of the chucks went for a TD after the defender missed the sure INT.
Lee is one missed 4th down conversion on 4th and short deep in Crosby's territory away from being up at the half.
-
20-14 Crosby at half.
-
20-14 now early 2nd quarter.
-
Crosby 20-7 towards end of 1st quarter.
Crosby is big and has good athletes for this level but not very well coached.
-
Crosby 13-0 early.

Crosby just isn't as good this year and have moved up to a more difficult level. They don't never have had an advantage in coaching. They did it with much better athletes and need that advantage to win. They are not going to out coach teams.
