1. 25-25 going to OT. Lee missed 3 xp's evidently. Crosby with a late field goal to tie it up.
2. Really? Didn't realize that. Heck, that might be their best bet. Richardson needs to have the ball more than he does typically.
3. I stuck to my guns and stayed at home, but I can follow it on the chron. Lee up 12-7  at halftime according to the latest.
4. Wow.... Japanese Joe on the radio.  Feel like I'm back in 1950.
5.
Have the Baytown Lee undersquads scored YET this year. I know as of week 2 they were sitting on zero.
Good ol Sedberry.... Driving the program right into the bottom of the ocean.
6. I can't imagine Sterling will come within 28 points of a win the rest of the year the way Channelview is playing.
7. Horace Mann scored 12....not bad.. not bad  :D
8. Coach probably did not realize what he was getting himself into with a program like Sterling. Different type of student-athlete at Clear Lake being raised in a different type of household. The Rangers are too bad of a team to be keeping anyone around that is skipping practices, etc. If you are going to stink anyways, at least stink with players giving their all.
9.

This one going to be in Crosby or Baytown?
I see your "I'm not going to any more Lee games" promise is not going to last ;)
I just wanted to know where NOT to go this Friday. 8)
10. This one going to be in Crosby or Baytown?
11. No doubt qb01. Heck, most of these good 4A programs have the same system from pee-wee league on up. I'm sure Angleton and Dayton and the like have had a cohesive, uniform idea of how to coach their players from age 8 on up. I would venture to guess that 90% of 9th graders at Lee don't have the football acumen of a typical 5th grader from a place that lives and breathes football.  By the time they hit 12th grade they are getting to the level of an 8th grader at Katy. Some times you get lucky and catch a kid that is a natural or has a dad that really knows football, but one or two kids in a whole class aren't going to get it done. There are way more kids getting football scholarships to colleges from Baytown Lee than say Barbers Hill, Dayton or Crosby.  Baytown schools, all three of them, have enough athletic talent to compete.  They just all look like a bunch of rag-tag guys that just showed up to learn football yesterday....and that's every game.
12. I want to say that Sterling could compete in 4A, but look how bad Lee looks. And Lee is better than Sterling. They should have combined the schools, and I imagine they will at some point.  Just like Beaumont and PA.  Keep opening schools and look up and you have 3A numbers across the board, then consolidate.
13.
One more course for Dayton, BH, and Crosby to dine on. GGISD just don't care anymore. Plain and simple. I'm guessing there is no open enrollment @ GCCISD. THEY SHOULD CONSIDER THAT OPTION.
I understand LP is on the uptick now and Lee is horrible, but didn't Lee just kick yalls ass two years in a row in 2008 and 2009? lol
14. Oh year, I almost forgot... I cant stand when the PA delinquents bring their lil chubby faces over to the Lee side and start cheering for the Titans. That really chaps my hide.
15. Yeah and right now the Ohio State Buckeyes can't hold a candle to Boise St. I guess if you want to pick an arbitrary period in time, then ok. PA was smart enough to realize they were getting the fool beat out of them with 3 high schools. The bloodbath had to come to an end by combining the three.  Unfortunately, Baytown is not that worried about athletics for that to be a deciding factor.
16. Well, playoffs are about matchups. Seen some state ranked teams go out in round 1 against other state ranked teams.  Seen some horrible teams, such as New Braunfels, make it to the state semi-finals. The important part is head to head, and Lee is 7-7 against PA teams in the last 20 years.
17. Anyone watch the Navy game tonight?  Much less talent than SC, still ran all up and down the field on them. Baytown has always had a good history in football.  One of the winningest teams in the history of Texas high school football. Sterling hasn't been good in a while, but Baytown Lee certainly has had better success than Port Arthur over the last 20 years. ;D
18. All the talent at Gentry these days I see. BJS or HM got anything?
19. Trust me...you WANT that level of security when playing at Thorne. :D
20. Clear Lake still looked pretty stout on offense last year. Much better execution than this Sterling team obviously.  I understand the frustration with the coaching, but you have to give the guy a couple of years to get the system in place.  You don't just start implementing this offense and look like a well-oiled machine the first year. Think back to Olin's 0-10 year.  Lee looked bad. It's obvious Sterling does not have the guys to run the offense right now. The qb is good, though he has no idea how to run the offense.  Outside of that Franklin is more of a slot receiver type, then you have the punter playing fullback.  And not a fullback that happens to be able to punt.  This is a punter that just go stuck back at fullback near as I can tell. If they can find a qb smart enough to run the offense, then just give it to next year at the very least.
21. Parents letting their kids run wild.  Of course they don't let them run wild right by where they are. They send them up to the top of the stands where I am to run around. Also, people that bring umbrellas to the game.  It's a football game, no umbrellas should be allowed.  Bring a rainsuit.
22. All the scores come through Gibson, so why the hell don't they throw him the ball more lol. It's really unbelievable. And what does Lee having a high-powered offense have to do with Sterling and Oak Ridge? Sedberry certainly was not successful anywhere that would actually matter. He went 3-6 and 4-6 at his previous job.  His claims of doubling participation at that school are certainly not being seen at Lee. He should talk to Olin and take notes on how to increase participation. Olin went 0-10 his first year and had probably 12 seniors. Went 5-5 his second year and then 9-3 and beat Eisenhower in the playoffs his third year.  By the 4th year, which was Olin's first graduating class, they must have had 30 seniors. Sedberry took what Olin had built, albeit falling off towards the end, and limped to a 3-8 record the first year, 1-9 the second year and more of the same this year.  The team has gotten progressively worse fundamentally. Back to the game thread though.
23. Man the Baytown teams just are horrible as a whole. GCM has the best chance to be average I guess.
