1. No one else will find this interesting, but right around the 45:40 mark in the video you can hear the PA announcer talking about how Pittsburgh just scored with 5 seconds left to go up on Oakland 13-7 in what we now know as the immaculate reception game.
2. I remember a Lee/Sterling game where it was coming down pretty hard.  This was the mid to late 80's.  Lee was the home team, and we had season tickets right below the press box. My sister and I used to always crawl up under the press box overhang.  Too bad they took that away with the new pressbox, or maybe it was a good thing or liability reasons.
3. Must have come a gully washer for there to be that much water in front of Stallworth Stadium. Stupid eagle went to the wrong stadium. Is Zellars going to be playing tonight?  I hope they hold him out.  I chalk up the BH and Dayton games as losses anyways.  Save him or the games we need to win to make the playoffs.
4. No UMBRELLAS! Raincoats or panchos
5. I would say that's kinda part of the equation though with that type of offense, particularly in high school. Lot of opportunities to leave the ball on the turf. I just wish I still had jabu's optimism on this. I've seen Lee lay too many eggs the past three years to carry much hope into this game.
6. LP beat them 26-7 and outgained them 337-73 in total yards according to the Chronicle. Sounds like a pretty good whoopin to me. I have little doubt that LP would steamroll through to an undefeated district championship if they were in 19-4A. Rosenberg Terry, as has been mentioned, is state ranked.  If anything, Crosby has played the most difficult schedule, with PNG, Montgomery and Dawson. Montgomery and Dawson being similar in stature to LaPorte and Terry.  And of course PNG being light years ahead of Sterling.
7. Yup.  Horace Mann, class of 89
8. Lee needs Barbers Hill to turn it over 3 or 4 times I do believe. I can't think of any other scenario where Lee stops them.  I don't see them forcing many punts, unless you get a guy slip down on first down, then maybe a hold on second down to put them in 2nd and 20.  Some stuff like that will need to happen.  If Barbers Hill just plays mistake free on offense, then Lee won't stop them much if at all. Lee needs to quit fiddlin around with all of the horizontal passing game.  Go over the top to Richardson and Landry, assuming Scott or Zellars is back at qb.  Richardson and Landry will go up and take the ball from the opponent more times than not. Take the game away from being a battle of execution and precision and turn it into individual matchups between athletes one on one on an island.  That's where Lee can make their hay.  They aren't going to out-execute anyone by any stretch.
9. Big Al was my junior high principal ;)
10. I don't really think t will matter one way or the other, but Lee has played much more difficult teams.  LaPorte is a legitimate 5A playoff threat and Terry beat LaMarque. Now, Lee got plastered by both of those teams, so take it for what it's worth. Just cus the Ganders played them, don't mean it did them any good.
11. I didn't go to the Crosby-Lee game. I don't think I would make a good game watching buddy. lol I'll be the guy off by myself at the top of Stallworth on the Barbers Hill side if I decide to go. As far as this video, I go every few weeks and do a search for "Baytown" and then arrange by upload date, just in case someone uploads something like this. Would love to watch an old Lee game on there, but I haven't ran into one yet.
12. [Hidden Content] Kinda rough quality...
13. What's with all this letdown talk? Lee might have a let down too after beating Crosby.
14.

The Lee supporters are all accounted for here.  Jabu and I are all you got.
I will be a REL supporter this friday. But after that, not so much.
Cmon man, I always root for GCM when they dont play Lee
15. The Lee supporters are all accounted for here.  Jabu and I are all you got.
16. Stadium packed my hind leg. Might be 250 people on the Lee side. 35-7 sounds just about right. I'll give Lee one more td, but they probably miss both pat's. 35-12
17. You have to put them in there as one of the favorites if not THE favorite. They certainly dispatched of Pasadena Memorial a whole lot easier than North Shore did. They struggled in the first game against Kingwood Park, but they beat Humble in what some thought was a fluke at the time.  They have been getting stronger and stronger in the passing game as the season goes along. I guess we will know a lot more after the LaPorte game coming up.  LaPorte better be ready to score some points though.
18. Tate doesn't have that record.  The record is 634 and Hurts threw for 493 according to the Chronicle.  10th place would be 557.  Tate doesn't appear in the top 10 at all or yardage in a game.  Tate did have 8 td's in a game which is still the record.  Seven of those came in the first half against Sterling. He probably could have reached double figures pretty easily had Sterling been scoring at all and caused him to stay in the game. I see now that Hurts went for 560 last week against Friendswood which puts him at #10 now.
19. Crosby should still be ranked ahead of PNG, because they have proven that they are better than them.
20. Man, Lee could just as easily be down 45-0 at the half next week. Aint no tellin with the Ganders.
21. I think your rhyming scheme needs some work, otherwise nice effort.
22. How long for zellars and scott to be out?
23. I dont know as i wss not there but the chronicle scoreboard has lee winning.  Crosby doesnt have the top end athletes lee does so i wouldnt call it sad regardless.  Ganders always have apunchers chance against teams like crosby.  If they dont completely implode as they are prone to doing, they have enough talent to beat everyone in this district.  They will implode more times than not
24. Lee 33 Crosby 32 F/OT according to the Chronicle chat
