1. Don't forget Gibson at Sterling.  If he stays at receiver and learns the position, he could be a terror. On pure athleticism alone, he's already difficult to deal with. Sometimes it is hard to really judge across different offensive schemes and different talent levels of surrounding players. That's how you get a guy like Bryan White ending up with a scholarship to Texas when he shouldn't have, and a guy like Jarret Dillard is a 2 star recruit that goes to Rice. Lee has had some guys in the past that got more acclaim than they probably should have because of the offense Lee ran.  It's hard to name a Lee receiver that went on to do anything at the college level.  They were all products of the system. Richardson, on the other hand, is really good and probably gets less acclaim than he should because of the lack of any semblance of an offensive system right now at Lee.  Stick him on a team like Katy that is able to run the ball and get the qb some time to let the routes develop, single him up out there in coverage, katy bar the door. (no pun intended) He might need to red-shirt at A&M to learn the position, because I don't think he has gotten much instruction on how to run routes, etc.
2. Yeah, but you said it was a lock that Crosby will make the playoffs if they won tonight. ;) Never be certain until it's a mathematical impossibility that they won't make it.
3. Let's assume then that Dayton beats Crosby by 18 and Crosby beats GCM by only 1. Lee beats GCM by 10 Lee would be plus 3 Dayton plus 7 GCM plus 7 Crosby -16 Then what?
4. I don't think so. Lee was just in the playoffs year before last. No spark then, no spark now.  Maybe if they were actually GOOD.  Let's say 8-2, rolling into the playoffs.  Maybe.... Win a game in the playoffs, then maybe the rest of Baytown would jump on board.  No sneaking in at 5-5 though. What if Crosby wins tonight, then loses out to finish 4-3.  What if GCM beats BH and loses to Lee to finish 4-3.  Lee wins out to finish 4-3.  Dayton loses a game let's say.  They also finish 4-3. BH is in.  Then you have Dayton, Crosby, Lee and GCM all sitting there at 4-3. I don't think Crosby mathematically ensures themselves a playoff spot tonight.  I don't think you are digging deep enough into the scenarios. Any number of teams could end up at 4-3 and tied with Crosby and other teams.  It gets kinda sketchy with three and four way ties.
5. I think the Sun may have gotten that one wrong. Maybe it meant Scott led them to 9 td's? The Chronicle has the first half scoring plays up and Richardson scored twice on runs, Landry caught a couple long td's and Gomez caught one. Who wrote that for the Sun anyways?  Fight, fight, fight immediately makes me think of Sterling's fight song. While I agree that losing to NF is not the best of things, I don't think that Lee should have necessarily beaten them i they both played to their best capabilities.  Maybe NF is just right there with Lee or slightly better than Lee.  I don't think it's that far out of the realm of possibilities that NF would beat Lee 5 times if they played ten. NF was only down to BH 7-0 with less than a minute to play in the first half before BH scored with 23 seconds in the half to go up 14-0.  That's a heck of a lot better than Lee did against BH. Lee still has a pretty clear road to the playoffs actually if they win their remaining games. I would call it about a 50/50 shot if Lee wins out they make the playoffs. Someone has to lose between Crosby and GCM tonight right? Whoever that someone is will have two losses.  Lee has three losses. If Crosby wins, Lee controls their own destiny at that point unless some weird three way tie happens.  If GCM wins, then Lee just needs Crosby to lose to either Dayton or Barbers Hill.  And again avoid the dreaded three way tie that included Dayton. Lee would have wins over Crosby and GCM assuming Lee wins out, so the more I think about it, I would put it at 75/25 Lee makes the playoffs if they win out.  They don't quite control their own destiny, but almost. If Lee and Dayton both win out, then Lee is in. You may be asking yourself, how does a team that lost to North Forest win out?  Therein lies the rub.
6. My weeks are going by so much more peacefully now that I am not going to the games. Sorry for no updates guys. Did they decide to play 6 man?
7. Well... Look at who is coaching Lee. Then you will get it.  It will all make perfectly, clear sense.
8. Looks like Lee lost this one from what I can tell. Inexcusable if so.
9. Yup, senior. :( A&M commit is correct.
10. Thanks.  Nice video.
11. Cmon man...Where the Gander highlights at lol
12. Good to see HM has at least one talented kid. Lee needs all the help they can get with their last two freshman classes both being winless if I am not mistaken. This is probably the one HM kid that is somehow zoned to Sterling lol
13. I was too busy watching Killer Elite. Nice to see they played to their capability this week.  See if they can make it two weeks in a row next week. I don't have the heart to sit through many Gander games right now.  They are so difficult to watch when they play like they did against BH and Terry. Maybe by next Friday the itch will be too much to overcome.

I heard that the Freshmen B game was 14 - 0 Dayton.
YES!  We're gonna pin our hopes on that Freshmen B team.
Not on a B team.  Last year this 9th grade bunch beat the tar out of Cunningham (North Shore's main feeder school).  That was the first time Cunningham has a lost a football game in years.  The Dayton 9th grade bunch has 5 legit athletes with break away speed and lots of size.  I would think before next year is over, they are seeing some action at least on the defensive side of the ball.
I meant "we" as Gander fans are pinning our hopes on that B team, because they were the closest one to a victory.

16. Lee played both, and Angleton was much better in my opinion.
17. Guys, I'm tellin you...I know Lee like the back of my hand. This one will be a 30 point lead for dayton by the half.
18. I'm just glad Barbers Hill had a heart. This could have easily been 75-7 if they wanted. They are light years better than Lee.
19. I'm just sick of seeing this group of athletes being wasted. They could have scored 21 points just by calling a Hail Mary every play for crying out loud. They used to tell Richardson to go deep and chunk it to him in double coverage all the time when he was a sophomore...worked more times than  not. Certainly would have worked with Landry and Richardson tonight.  The one time Landry went deep, he was running wide open 5 yards behind everyone.  Landry and Richardson are both taller, faster, quicker and can jump higher than anyone in BH's secondary. They should be testing them every other play. Instead they try to get into a game of execution.  Going to get drilled by BH if you try to out-execute them.  Lee just can't execute a dink and dunk, precision passing offense.  Don't have the discipline to do it without making a mistake. It's like they have a couple of Randy Mosses, but they want them to run Wayne Chrebet routes. Obviously not as talented as Randy Moss, but it's an analogy. Just send them deep man.  Get down the field and I'll chunk it as far as I can and you go and outjump and outrun that guy covering you because you are 5 inches taller and have about 10 inches on him in vertical leap. Quit all the punting too.  You are probably netting 15 yards a punt this year.  You can't stop anyone from going 65 yards any more than you can 50.  I almost feel like he thinks so far inside the box that he doesn't realize that he can go for it on 4th.  Someone needs to mention it to him that it is an option, maybe it hasn't dawned on him.  If he actually considers it and decides not to, that's even worse.  No excuse for not going for it at the 50 on 4th and 2 with this abomination of a defense.
20. I'm out for tonight Not gonna claim to be done for the sEason this time Love the ganders too much This cOach is just wasting a very athletic grouP this year Lee hasn't had this type of assOftment of athletes in a long time,  maybe never under Olin
21. Shoulda held firm on not coming back to watch this garbage Dude hasn't been able to get the kickoff past the 25 allgame yet we still line uP at the 5 It's borderline criminal hOw misused Landry is He could be an all state type receiver in a good system They throw t deeP on the last play and make it look easy for a 50 yard gain. I just dint get t These guys are nOt near tall enough or athletic enough to keep Landry randle Richardson or Gomez from catching jump balls on the fade The coach just doesn't have a clue
22. Downed at 3 Scott back in Unbelievable Landry on the comeback routes again Jus let them fly down the sidelines coach Interception on sOme silly comeback route
