I love going through old video and seeing how styles and uniforms have changed for our area schools. So I figure why not post them every once and awhile. 
 
Still my favorite PNG uniform of all-time. 
 

I would say before criticizing Matthews realize he's taken them to the playoffs 4 of the 6 times the Pirates have made the playoffs. He has Vidor competitive every year. That wasn't the case before. People aren't knocking on the door to coach there either while he's very proud of his team.

The last season the Raiders didn't wear white jerseys on the road. Lumberton wore silver. 
 

Their players said they'll wear either red or Columbia blue at home. I wonder what officials will say considering they're dark gray. They wore light silver years ago on the road.

They were still wearing those 2000 jerseys last season. The more I see the new WOS uniforms the less I like them. Mustangs should be silver to me not dark grey. The new set won't match the traditional helmet.

I might actually lean more towards ShanDerrick Charles over Jamaal before he got hurt. He was actually faster and had better cuts. At SMU he broke Eric Dickerson's freshman record. Sad thing he finds out he has two stress fractures in his back when lifting weights. Couldn't recover and says his back still hurts to this day. Jamaal has said multiple times his brother was better than him in high school.

Like Coach Stone said to us. You look good, you play good. First year he came in with us we got new uniforms, warmup jackets, hoodies, etc. Nice uniforms don't win games but players do get excited. Coach McGallion said the Tigers got their matte helmets because the kids like them. A lot of coaches are the same way.

I think better than fine. Great offense for him to be featured. Lions are ranked 3rd by Athlon Sports in the FCS ipreseason poll behind Eastern Washington and North Dakota St.

Longview reporter at the tournament had PNG beating Crosby 52-50 in 3 OT's. Indians win pool C.
