A LOT! I usually go to 2 to 3 games every Friday night plus lots of playoff games. But hey it's my job, life is tough ;D

It's not over yet Texas St. plays UTSA Thursday, if they lose and we win our last 2 we could be co-champs again. But you're right the tournament is what counts. I would feel confident if we were playing in the Mac but it's at SFA and we're not good on the road.

Just looked at Westbury Christian's schedule they are in the YMBL for sure.

It's weird over at PN-G historically the middle school teams aren't very good but when they combine and learn the system they seem to get better with time.

I will say this and it's not a knock on Silsbee, every school has their own rules. But this year things feel very tight there. Photogs and reporters are constantly getting told to stay out of the team box or back off the field. I've been to college games where things aren't so strict NFL games are different because the millions involved but this is high school. Like I say every school is different for their own reasons.

I used to have that exact same program from that tournament crazy too see it now. On a side not I miss those types of tournament when just about everyone was in. Nederland used to be the same way.

Ike may affect Texas high school football games Eds: APNewsNow. AUSTIN (AP) - High school football games threatened by Hurricane Ike could be rescheduled for earlier kickoffs this week. The University Interscholastic League on Tuesday gave schools permission to move up varsity football games in areas where Ike may force evacuations. The UIL mandates at least five days between games. But with Ike potentially headed to the Texas coast, the exception would let schools move up its games. Scheduling for volleyball matches were granted similar exceptions. Gov. LC-M's fight song is just PN-G's school song played fast. Also I remember back in the day SFA's school song was Oh Christmas Tree LOL.

If I remember right the Cardinal they had was brought back from a long time ago. Besides the Crimson Tide look they had a Cadrinal with Bridge arched over it and City under it. They had the old Arizona/StL Cardinal at one time but I liked the big Card that was like the old USFL Michigan Panther style. This is a downgrade to me.
