Things haven't changed too much for the worse from last year in LM football wise with the exception of younger lines but they aren't too shabby. If anything I'd have to say LM is better off coaching wise this year as opposed to last. Only real drastic change this year is that Manvel is a tougher cookie to crumble as they are a better team with consistency than LM was last year. LM played better than expectations last season and if I were facing the Mavs tonight I'd have more concern with being in the game come the 4th quarter. It's just my opinion but to be quite honest I think you can look forward to the old or new outcome that you suffered at the hands of LM last year but perhaps even worse this go round? Good luck and if your boys prove me wrong I'll gladly tip my hat to your Broncos but I wouldn't count on that scenario playing out....we'll see? Manvel is a better team than LM was last year, only other difference is they have more depth than we had last year. [/quote]I think that our secondary gets so comfortable with the front four causing havoc and they fall asleep and get beat deep, slow starts lately and honestly I think they came into some games overconfident. Outside of LK Travis Manvel in my opinion has the best team in the state. The Bronco's are peaking at the right time and will have to lay it all out to  beat Manvel . Our "D" will have to force some 3 and outs to keep Manvel's explosive offense on ice and hopefully create some turnovers. Our offence needs to click with alot of points to keep pace with Manvel and not let the game get out of hand . At least with our kicker we can bank on Manvel haveing to play from the long side of the field and earning every yard they get .

That was our worst game of the season lots of people on the injury list ( RB,WR, ect ) - We don't have half the kids to pick from like Manvel does so injuries can be a problem sometimes. I know the Manvel team & fans are anxious to pounce all over our little team on their way to State.  Good Luck to both teams !

Where in Dayton are they selling ticketts before the game ?

ATWILDCAT is glad Friendswood beat TX City or they would of been facing Manvel in the playoffs. I watched Manvel manhandle Friendswood in a blowout this year and like everyone has been saying Manvel is loaded.  Friendswood did find a small crack in Manvels secondary and launch 2 or 3 long passes for TD's. No doubt about it Dayton is the underdog in this contest but if I was Manvel I wouldn't look to far past this game !

Wow! what a game its shame somebody had to lose both teams put it all on the line. PNG kids  displayed the best sportsmanship of any team we ever played hats off to them. The QB for PNG was a fine athlete along with his go to reciever they were the offense.  Great game by both teams !
