It's a real shame that we no longer have the information (Stats) that I grew up reading.  Beaumont Enterprise has never been very good covering Mid County Schools (they did us ok in the 60's), but in the day before Bob West and thru his career at PA News reading and comparing the stats was one of the highlights of the week. I miss it but I guess it is gone forever.

Nederland has played WOS as a non district opponent more than any other team in the last 25 years or so, and we were in the same district for awhile. and when they were not on our schedule we were scrimmaging them, I think it helped make us better in the long run, and there certainly was no shame losing to the Mustangs

You have to remember before Jerry Jones became a Billionaire in oil and sports, he was a starter alongside Jimmy Johnson on the Arkansas Razorbacks national championship team, so I guess the kid comes from good stock.

I don't think the big win over PN-G (I don't think it was an upset) will slow the dogs any, I think they are just starting to hit their stride.

You know Pak memorial has never played in Nederland but evidently some of your past teams have and must not have come out too good, thus you throw out crooked refs to use as an excuse right, if the titans are as good as you say you wouldn't have to, just so you know we don't pick refs they are done by mutual agreement of the coaches.
