Idk much about the internal works. All i know is its been the exact same defense from when i graduated to now, and we still struggle to cover the same things, so to me it seems like a scheme issue. Granted im a big fan of the 4-2-5, especially with our lack of size on the line.

I been vocal of my displeasure for the DC for years now. I know this year talent is not really there, but offensively i like the system with dubois just needs more creativity. Not run the full back 60 times a game and hope for the best lol i like the slot t, when ran right its a thing of beauty, but always did wish we would open up some. Run some throwback screens, and use the quick hitting passing game to make defenses hesitate

Yeah his offensive lines at vidor the last few years have looked similar. Disturbing trend, got rougher each season to me it appeared, but from the stands its hard to know exactly what the issue was

Yeah from what i saw was a 4 man front. 2 deep safeties and everyone else within 4 yards of the line of scrimmage lol what impressed me was how disciplined silsbee stayed. I rarely saw them over extend, or get out of position

Ima take Silsbee by 10 on this one. I like the match up of Silsbee D-Line vs LCM O-Line

Apparently Silsbee is the most disciplined team in SETX. Not a single flag on them tonight..

Agree with this. Gonna keep a close eye on them this year, think they have a special team capable of giving it a run

Did not know fontenot was not playing this year.

Did fontenot play during the scrimmages? I do not recall seeing him, but i know we had a few in street clothes both times.

fullback and qb great runners if thats what you are referring to. Not worried about the backfield at all, my worries are with the OLine this year…

Vidor is pretty similar to last year in my opinion, but the homer in me is going with Vidor squeaking it out in a close one!

Vidor offense looks alot better than last week, after getting mauled by Jasper to start the defense has settled down. Jasper O scored 6 or 7 times on Vidor D Nacogdoches scored only once i believe against Vidor (Could be wrong i did not pay super close attention) Jasper D looks really good. Vidor O moved the ball consistently against nacogdoches, and outside of one long pass has not moved the ball much on jasper.

Jasper is by far the best team on the field for this scrimmage.
