  1. Clearly the defensive scheme that West-Orange has run for years has relied on smaller, quicker defenders. Usually, no one can run on the edges on them for that reason. My point was simply that with bigger linemen and running backs, better teams are starting to exploit the size weakness and are over-powering our smaller defenders. Now, you still think I'm losing credibilty, or can you see that?
  2. Well, credibilty IS an issue on this post. I'm looking at both sides of this issue. I think most of you are taking a biased approach which keeps you one sided. And again.......Its all opinion.
  3. Mr. Cooper, gotta disagree with you on the BR game. We got over- powered up front. Plus, its hard to tackle a 200 plus pound back when he gets his motor started. Size wore us down.
  4. Trust me gentlemen. West-Orange has smaller players by choice. Have you guys been to the High school lately????
  5. So GUNHO, why do you think no changes need to be made?
  6. Wow......great question! Before I answer that, let me be clear.......I AM NOT A COACH! I would start with  new defensive personnel.  Offensive Linemen and running backs are much bigger than they use to be (Brookshire Royal for example). Quarterbacks are more skilled and versitile. That's just my opinion, which, like all opinions on this post, mean nothing.
  7. I'd like to ask a question. West-Orange, without question, will run the table in District for years to come. But for the last few years we have been at least 1 and done in the playoffs. Now I agree that we have a legendary coaching staff, but you don't think a little change needs to be made? Or are we happy with just local bragging rights and making short runs in the playoffs?
  8. Go get it Longhorns! We're pulling for you.
  9. Yeah Gasilla, some of those WOS 8 grade A kids can flat out play.
  10. Probably won't be the same though coach. A few of those 8th grade a players will probably be on JV next year.
  11. Wow Limbo. You said a mouth full. That is so true. When coaches were fighting they could not wait to air that.
  12. We were all concerned. He's a good kid and a tough player. That's good news.
  13. VPATH, read ALL the posts. Someone said WHEN Vidor white beats WOS. And my grip is solid. Its all fun to me. Relax
  14. Nah. I wouldn't say flustered. We've been relatively quiet through this whole topic. But when you start predicting you'll beat us from now on, you must be crazy.
  15. DOVE!!!!! You've come out of hiding!!!!! What's good my friend???
  16. He must be. There is no way Lumberton White is better than WOS right now. We'll soon find out.
  17. I hear ya Bulldog! Should be a barn burner! Much respect for C O.
  18. The only way we will be able to put money on it is if WOS keeps Dayton on it's scrimmage schedule. It's not a real game, but the closest we'll get to one. Let's bet then.
  19. From what I saw Saturday I agree with previs 100%.
  20. Not complaining, just debating. I thought that's what we did on this site. I thought this was our little "ESPN SPORT'S Reports". Let's just agree to disagree.
  21. For your information Sir, my son is the starting quarterback for the A team. I just have a passion for kids. To make a kid feel as if he/she is not important is absolutely not fair. Its about them.
