1. I don't want to keep this going. But I personally know 9 officials whom I either go to church with or know from the neighborhood. So give us another excuse.
2. Strongend, I hate to disagree with you. But what do you mean by limited coaches? The same coaches that work with the A team work with the B teams. And as far as sites and officials, are you saying we don't have enough money for that? Please.
3. I wonder why they won't let them play on a different night. That only fair.
4. Hopefully it will be a great game. But you can't judge a real game based on what happened in 7 on 7. All we can do is hope for that same competitive edge both teams bring to the table.
5. Lol! Its all good. Enjoyed the conversation.
6. I can go with that. But I was just trying to answer his question.
7. Well, wos 7th grade team not only went undefeated, they went without giving up a single point last year. That's why the question was raised as to how good we thought they would be this year.
8. Too early? Ummmmm.. Never too early when you're talking about WOS football. Not a lot changes in middle school football. But that remains to be scene.
9. That's a very good question. I hear they have C. O. Wilson and a school out of Beaumont on their schedule this year. But they seem determined to repeat last year's performance.
10. I have a son who plays on the 7th grade team. If I recall correctly HJ cancelled out on us because they THOUGHT is was going to rain. That day we didn't get a drop the entire day. I myself think it was pre-game jitters. Make sure that the HJ coaches keep their day jobs because they surely wouldn't make it as meteorologists!!! :D :D :D :D
11. I know you are BigD!!! But it's all good seeing that we're on the same team!!!
12. I did the same thing when I head coached last year. It's important to prepare them now. When they get to the 7th grade (on up) you don't want to see a talented kid written off because he has no discipline and he feels no one cares. You guys have good kids and it showed throughout the season. Have to make a case for the 2007 WOS senior team as being the most dominant though. My kid played safety on that team!!!!!!!!!! ;) :D ;D ;)
13. My hats off to the Junior White coaching staff. Some people say you guys run too tight of a ship. Some even say it's a boot camp. But I have a few observations. #1. I think you guys are the most disciplined group I've ever seen. #2. Your kids are more than prepared for the next level (whether it's football or life). #3. you get the best out of ALL your players. Great job guys.
14.

HF executed on offense very well and played disciplined on defense not giving up any big breakaway runs.  Our only score was on a great kickoff return.  Congrats HF hopefully we will be better prepared next year.
I read on a post earlier in the year that the HJ 7th grade was 4-0. Do you know what the record is now and who their losses (other than HF) were to?
IF HJ 7TH A TEAM LOST TO HF 7TH GRADE A TEAM THEY'RE IN A WORLD OF TROUBLE WHEN THEY PLAY WOS 7TH GRADE TEAM BECAUSE
15. Bam understand that calls go both ways. I sure when you look at the film some of their young men made mistakes too. But if you think you need that to win a game have at it. Oh! And if you plan on seeing us in the playoffs you might want to strongly consider changing that offense.
16. Well. Two undefeated teams went head to head today (WOS Pee Wee/Nederland White Pee Wee). But in the end WOS came out on top in convincing fashion. We can talk about injuries, refs not seeing anything and everything else. IT'S IN THE GAME! And that wasn't what decided the game. WOS hits hard! And we're looking forward to the playoffs! Good luck to all teams. And I truly hope those young men are ok.
17. VERY WELL SAID MMstangfan!!!! Your are right on it!!!!!
18. You're absolutely right TD. He seems to be real comfortable hiding behind his comments.
19. For the record you don't know me so you don't know what kind of father I am. Ask anyone who knows me personally and you might be surprised.
20. Well let me educate you on me. I was born and raised in Dallas. Graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1989. I know first hand the story that you're referring to about Dallas Carter. Some of those guys were once friends of mine. Trust me, no one has to tell me about education and wrong crowds. My wife is a teacher so we've got that base covered. Believe me, I'm my son's worst critic. Ask anyone who knows me will tell you that. As far as that game goes I'll admit we as coaches let our kids down. But we still say you win some you lose some. It's a valuable lesson to learn.
21. Hello Mr. Cooligan. Couldn't pass up this chance to respond to you. First of all, hats off to Lumberton White. They were the better team. Good luck to Danny and his guys in the Super Bowl. Umm, as far as looking for a rule book, I'm too busy preparing my son (#2) for his future in football and basketball. I've been quiet about him all year but he is a complete stud. He'll be in the 7th next year so you won't have to worry about me and "your" rules. Hey TD thanks for the ticket my friend! You're right!!! We're all Mustangs and i'll be pulling for you guys!!!! Stang92 my man!!! We'll be back!!! You can count on it!!!
22. TD< we're cool. I know who you are. I was referring to cooligan. Sorry for that horrible misunderstanding. As for you cooligan, Sir. I am A grown man who does not have time to respond to you. Again I say to you this game is about kids. None of us get paid for this. This kind of nonsense is what caused the brawl over in Lumberton. I can't stop you from quoting but I can ignore you. I really hope you grow up someday. This is the last time I'll respond to you.
23. Sorry TD, that was for Cooligan. I knew it had to be him. He's been crying since week four.
