Dominating performance from Chris Augustine. 6TDs and 1 Int. A few of them were 30 plus. One was over 50 yards. There’s so many contributors on the team. Ramsey and Zeno had a td as well. Can’t wait for next weeks game.

It'll definitely be another good Week 1 match up. Was watching HF scrimmage at Dayton last week. Zeno looked good as always, Bryson dropped a gorgeous pass over the top of two defenders, right into a WR's arms 30-40 yards down the field. The D-Line could cause some issues for Lumberton, they looked like they had some decent size and were pretty disruptive.
We'll have a live audio stream for the game.

Vidor inching closer to an outright title, they’ll play Jasper this week. Bridge City shouldn’t fall below a 2 seed, they’d have to drop both games against WOS. Silsbee and Lumberton fighting for 3 and 4. A Silsbee win against LCM and they firmly secure their spot in the playoffs. A sweep vs LCM and Silsbee gains the 3 seed.

We could look up the final week and see four teams hovering at 9-3/8-4 district records. It’ll be a fun final 3 week stretch!!

Hey folks. Just wanting to gauge interest in possibly starting up a HS football podcast for our area. I already listen to a few podcasts from LSG like 59N and Grant/Terry’s two shows. They cover our area somewhat, but it’s usually a part of a bigger area or the entire state.
Bare minimum, the proposed podcast would run maybe 20-30 minutes and cover SETX teams week to week. Final scores, standings, and other bits of information along the way.
If we’re really getting after it, there’d be some extra stats, short interviews with coaches and some of the broadcasters in the SETX Sports group, and some highlights around the state. We could even expand into some of the other sports as the year goes on.
Again, just trying to gauge interest. Personally, I think it’d be good for not only our contingent on here in the forums, but folks in the area that want to keep up with our local teams.

East Chambers has a 23-2 home record going back to 2017. The only time they’ve lost to HF in the last ten years was at HF. I’m taking the Buc’s!

It was impressive. Shut down the pass game pretty well. HJ has a decent defense, it’s just the LCM O Line and Morris at RB are a deadly combo. If they get their blocks, he can read well enough to find some extra yardage. Fun to watch. LCM is going to be awesome if they can get their pass game buttoned up. We only got one quarter in, so I’m sure it’ll come together.
