  1. IMO-

1st Q - quick fouls took HJ out of their rhythm especially their big man #22.  Huffman found the open man and held early lead

2Q - back and forth between both teams. Best action of the game

3Q - Huffman does a good job of help defense- especially taking charges- probably had 8-10 in the game. HJ fans and coach did not agree with all the calls which I believe impacted their kids and allowed Huffman to have big quarter

4Q - Game was out of reach but HJ applied full court pressure and forced some turnovers- easy buckets Huffman slowed it down.
    Final Huffman by 22.

Next time could be completely opposite game- both teams are good - just bad night for HJ. Harvey had 13 but three others scored in double figures.  He did not force anything and his teammates played well.

Proud of the Lions.  Taking on Chapel Hill Saturday.  CH got donkey stomped by Splendora first game of the season.  I see no reason why the Lions shouldn’t win this one.

    What do y’all think?

Chapel Hill beat Splendora 65-33.  That East Texas district is pretty good.  Any of our district winning will probably be an upset.

so newer residential areas means the top of the line athletes, huh?  That’s the logic?  CE king area has many new growth and newer homes and they can’t field a team to come close to beating NS.  Lots of new growth and developments in Baytown right down the street and I haven’t seen elite NS type athletes in any of their schools in like 20 years. Channelview as well, right down the street.  But you see the world class athletes just so happen to end up at NSHS. But if that’s the logic, then cool.  Not hating, but just calling it like EVERYONE sees it (excluding the NS peeps).  🤷🏾‍♂️

I agree with you about C. E. King- especially when top athletes move to North Shore.
FYI- Zach Evans (RB) was in Sheldon ISD in seventh grade.

    Falcons in a blowout!

LCM is horrible, and HH is pacing for a showdown with the pirates. A 2 TD win  would be a disappointment. But....... our offense is plain and predictable and defense is uncoached

Clarify what’s you mean by the defense is un coached. 4 games - 2 shutouts and 28 total points given up
