First things first, CONGRATS DAWGS on finishing the regular season above .500 and making playoffs! the first month of the season those two things were not obtainable so it seemed. Jasper is proud of yall. Personally, I think the Cadets are a helluva 1st round opponent for Jasper. Of course, I will always support the DAWGS ! ! I have learned with sports in general to take my emotions out of it and tell things like they are. If we have anywhere near the amount of fabric thrown on us Thursday night as we did against Madisonville we lose for sure! GO DAWGS GO!!

after a couple of games improving on the penalties the DAWGS were ATROCIOUS against Madisonville last night. As we all know penalties can/will eliminate possible points(which for Jasper this season they have been at premium). Proof in the pudding(1 example from last night) Inside the Madisonville 5 yard line a DAWG was called for a bone head personal foul, which moved us back to the 19 yard line. the end result was a miscue on the field goal attempt and zero points for the drive. whether or not Jasper would have scored from inside 5 is an endless discussion. I guarantee though, with 3 downs from that distance there was a MUCH BETTER chance of scoring

Carthage has 86 points scored against them so far this season. (that includes the zero points we (Jasper) scored). Jasper has had 80 points scored against them this season (73 against the defense ) that includes the 28 Carthage got when they squeaked by Jasper a few weeks ago. 😉😜 just saying.......
