  1. 😆 *Carlsen
  2. Pragg, as he is called isn't a slouch himself. Pointing out Carlsen is/was recovering and it was an online 3 am game seems as though you are throwing shade on Pragg. Maybe you are not aware that at just 10 years old he became a Grandmaster and is the youngest international Grandmaster ever. Maybe you are aware. I think though if we want to discuss further that we do it in more appropriate forum/thread. 😉 Have a FANTABULOUS day.
  3. I truly am saddened to hear that about your friend. it makes my heart ache, because I have also watched that cruel disease slowly debilitate probably the most fun, yet so pure friend of mine up until he was killed in an auto accident.
  4. off topic briefly. what about the 16 year old (from India) beating Magnus Carlsen(# 1 ranked in the world since 2011) ? 😲 * chess
  5. lol. my friend you must have missed my post about February 28th 6pm school board meeting. A hire will be made then.
  6. Such hostility! why so, my friendly fan of the Purple Beast to our East? Trust me when I say Bulldogs92 is one of the last people (especially on this website) to be looking for confrontation . His post is genuinely out of curiosity.
  7. hey DAWGS fans! can any of ya tell me what Terence Davis did to become only the third in school history to so? Big John Davis caught/scored the game winning TD in 2002 NFC Championship game to send Tampa to SuperBowl vs Oakland Letter in 4 sports. football, basketball, baseball & track(Terence)
  8. He was very well capable for sure. The guys who were the ones to break record though were Charles Adams Terrance Davis (future NFL & Arena League player) John Davis (future NFL player) Bryan Bronson (future Olympian)
  9. Malcolm's younger brother Ryan for those who don't know, is a baller himself. He played at Mcneese State along with Malcolm.
  10. Mr Zack Bronson. He is currently a secondary coach at McNeese State where he had an illustrious 4 career in early to mid 90s Then he had a great NFL career. 7 years he played safety for the 49ers. then one year with St. Louis. Malcolm played in the NFL for 4 years. Two seasons with Kansa City where his Senior year he was drafted by Kansas City Royals. The last 2 with Chicago.
  11. off topic, for a minute. I have said publicly that the Bronson bloodline/family tree has impacted not just football but all sports in Jasper more than any other. Yall know who his uncle is?
  12. February 28th @ 6pm a meeting will be held to decide who the next HC/AD of the Jasper Bulldogs will be..
  13. he has been at Manvel 9 years. the current OC. he is a hometown guy here in Jasper.
  14. let's hope it's the right one. (Crumedy)
  15. two different reviews? what changed your mind?
  16. 29th year now for Gibbs. lol ole Thomas Brooks is teaching in the Katy school district
  17. my Blue & Silver friend trust me I trying to find out. lol I have even went as far as emailing Seybold (JISD Superintendent) earlier today.😜 no response as of yet.
  18. two playoff appearances, getting skunked both years by Manvel. 2020 63-0 2021 56-0 LOL
  19. Deweyville is 1-13 all time in playoffs. Michael Comeaux coached at Deweyville 2002,03,04 had a 10-20 over all record and did not make any playoff appearances. The Pirates however did make playoffs in 2005 & 2006 losing both years to Corrigan Camden. Chris Babin was 17-5 @ Deweyville in 2012 & 2013 making playoffs both years. 2012 lost to Elysian Fields 24-22 2013 lost to Rosebudd Lott 43-16
  20. Alvarez isn't because he as of today has a new job in Marshall. Probably figured why bother going thru the rest of the process once he realized/found out that Jasper wasn't going to play the role of PowerBall lottery. can't say for certain how much truth(if any) there is/was to the ," I HEARDS". do/did you know that before Alvarez got his first HC job in Pineland(West Sabine) he was on Coach Walkoviak's staff here in Jasper? Bronson is already on staff in role that suits him perfectly. ( don't get me wrong, I would have been ecstatic if he were becoming HC). thanks for the well wishes!
  21. my friend you see where I stand, by reading my earlier post. lol alot of people don't know there are actually 3 Jasper alums on Manvel's current coaching staff. @jdog90 @Bulldog92I bet yall remember Kevin Hall(Manvel HC) and David Gibbs (Manvel DC) Kendrick may lack the HC experience that the other finalist have but gimme a clean slate vs the other 3 combined 109 wins 153 losses any day. Prouse having the lone above .500 record and its by the slimmest margin possible (26-25). really I mean I am not being disrespectful (well maybe I am, if being brutally honest is synonymous ). the school board members have the opportunity to look back with pride one day and say they were part of waking a sleeping giant(Jasper's football program). Let's hope they do. Personally this possible situation truly gets me excited....ALOT! the only other hire that even comes close to the one available that got me excited about the future of Bulldog football was Garrett Morgan. we all know how grossly that was handled..
  22. granted the "I heard pipeline of info" was in wide open, but if true it would be basically paying 200k for his services. 125k for himself and a position for his wife. His wife current position in Cuero is/was "Director of Speacial education " which is an administrative position with a price tag in the 90(s)k range. the National average salary of her position is $91,108
  23. and still come out alot cheaper than what Alvarez had requested. 😝
