Bears looked great tonight. Focused were running the other teams plays for them. Beating them to spots and hitting open shots. Going to be tough to beat them when they play like that!!

I think the line at 36 is fair. But I could see it being 40 before game time.

That being said liberty lost by 15 to lumberton who lost by 35 to silsbee 21 to Lcm who lost by 30 to silsbee. Silsbee could win this game by 70 if they wanted too. The line that is set has to be based on a pure guess of when silsbee coach decides to rest his starters. Lol.

But once again you won’t talk about anything but 3 wins. That is my point. 😂. Thank you for proving it again. Just out their swinging and missing. It’s hard to call out a team for a 8 year playoff run with a program that is 2nd tier in their own school. What English has done is remarkable to say the least. My point was png didn’t have a great year they were in a terrible district. And as I said smith did what he had to do to get there. I’m treading lightly because this sounds like a disgruntled parent that wasn’t happy about a kids pt or outcome. But if that’s the case you probably know more than me. I’m just a fat guy that like high school basketball. Nederland is one of the teams I pull for but I have several these days. 

I just hope these coaches don’t take the easy way out and go the co-mvp route. If I’m not mistaken they are voting today 

I’m not sure who is getting offended on here. But your points didn’t make any sense. You banged on nederlands PLAYOFF record while not wanting to report coach smiths regular season record. But really just wanted to congratulate smith and his players apparently. I’m just trying to keep up. 

My factual records were to say the tide isn’t turning purple. Yours were to bang on a head coach. PNG did a good job of taking advantage of a very poor district and that’s not taking anything away from them this year. They did it others couldn’t. But finishing .500 for first time in forever I don’t think calls for the changing of the guards. If coach smith pulls it off again next season I’ll get my purple shirt out and be ready to agree with you. 

I didn’t know ragging English was giving smith and his players credit. But Chris did a great job. Not sure why that has to mean English did a bad one. If we want to give Chris his credit let’s not bring down the competition he beat. Smith is in a very hard place to win and got it done!! 

I do always enjoy png fan with their stats. If you would can you shoot over coach smiths last few season stats to the group when you get time. Would love the break down 

Nederland was a hot mess that couldn’t score this season.  They are returning all but 1 starter and I think they have 1 other senior that didn’t play but about 20 minutes all season. I’m not calling for Nederland to rule the district next year by any stretch but they will be in a significantly better place than png. Not to mention Nederlands Jv was very good.  

Yeah like I said. Big smith fan and very happy for him!! Not sure about the tide turning purple but I will say png has a good coach and I’m happy for him. 

PNG didn’t have 1 win against 5a schools outside that district and several losses to 4a schools if I’m not mistaken. 

We could just go back to how weak this district is this year. I’m a big coach smith fan but this png team will get slaughtered round one. Hopefully kf89 knows what he’s talking about and it was a young district. I know Nederland for sure is. But let’s just hope for some better basketball next season throughout the district. 

Sells for mvp is a really tough argument. He’s on a 16-15 team grasping to get the 4th seed. Perrault has a 30-4 team ranked 12th in state. Ragusa is on the second best team and just mopped the floor with kountze   I think sells might have to settle for first team all district. 

Would love to hear a good argument for sells over Ragusa or Perrault ! Just any valid point and I’ll be happy.  Who is shores ?
