  1. I seen DCTF has moved Hardin into the number 10 spot. Keep up the hard work. It should be atleast the second round before they see a DL that can hold up against their OL. Would be nice to see at least one team from the district move to the second round or even further .
  2. I have to eat my words Hardin line is beating Orangefield up. Can’t do anything with them.
  3. FBC by 14. I'd like to see it go the other way but just cant see it.
  4. Hitchcock obviously a little down from last year but still very strong team. I thought Silsbee was gonna be down after they only beat LCM by 10 but then they come back the next week and beat Nederland so Im not sure. But with family on the Silsbee team I will take Silsbee by 1. 28-27 Silsbee
  5. Im Gonna Take Vidor 24-14
  6. Yes sir that's what I was getting at, its also what we seemed to do against St.Louis Catholic. St Louis just wasn't as good as BC or that game would've ended very similar. OF needs to put the gas pedal to the floor and not slow up when we are only up by 2. Keep passing and bouncing the run outside. Linemen this year are better at pass protection but slow off the line for running plays so the inside run has been shutdown against a larger DL.
  7. This will be Hardins first real challenge this year. Orangefield goes up by 2 touchdown in the first. Starts trying to run up the middle to run the clock. It doesnt work Hardin gets the ball in good field position ties it up before the half 14-14 before the half. Hardin score early in the third for the go ahead 21-14 Orangefield wakes up and doesn’t look back 42-21 Orangefield. Or since it’s district Orangefield just walks away with it from the get go 35-10
  8. I’m picking Lumberton by 2 touchdowns. But only because I’m still bitter they beat Orangfield in the bayou bowl. 🤣🤷‍♂️
  9. EC is looking tough this year for sure. They did play 2 larger schools in pre-district play but neither of those teams have played tough games or are picked to do very well in their district. Liberty barely beat Coldspring and is 1-2 and then you have HJ 2-1 but with wins over Buna and Kelly who are both 0-3 and have given up over 40 points per game average in those three games. Meanwhile Orangefield has played 2 smaller schools Woodville who appears to be down this year but are 2-1 and improving. They also already played two other teams in this district Coldspring and Anahuac and beat them both. The other smaller school New Waverly is 0-3 but Orangefield pulled their starters going in to the 3rd Q. With the third game being a rivalry game with Bridge City who just seemed to outlast Orangefield. We all know how rivalry games go you don't ever know what's going to happen. That being I did see the DCTF moved EC above OF in the rankings. Sorry for the book but give me Orangefield for the district title with EC in second.
  10. 42-7 Orangefield This shouldn't be much of a game but should be a take the lead by 3 TDs and rest your starters to prepare for district opener.
  11. Orangefield vs St Louis Catholic @ Westlake (Thursday) Coldspring vs Kelly (Friday)
  12. He actually lost to them his last year at Orangefield.
  13. What a game! Congrats BC.
  14. NFHS will have video feed of the game. And i do believe SETXsports has it on audio
  15. Hardin by whatever they want. Hate to say that with tons of family on the Deweyville team but with the clips I seen on from the Cushing game, Deweyville may have a long year ahead of them.
  16. Cross town rivalry games are always up in the air and make me nervous. That being said OF takes the trophy back home. OF by 9.
  17. I think this is going to be a good game but I have to go with Woodville by 7. 21-14
  18. Very possible! It’s hard to tell with their weak pre-district opponents. Lots of returners and put up one heck of a fight against Palestine Westwood last year in Bi-District. But Westwood was missing their head coach who was out on suspension.
  19. Man you sure our bitter. LOL. Dominating?!? I wouldn’t call beating a returning 1-9 team Warren and a 2A-D1 Dominating. Last year there strategy against Orangefield they ran 3 plays outside the ends and everything else was up the middle. Thats all I am saying is they are running to the outside more this year. For longer gains not just trying to get 3 yards at a time to control the clock. But it’s ok I’m obviously not going change your mind. And I’m not changing yours I’m guessing only time will tell. And I’m really not in any position to say I’m right I’ve never even played football but I did stay at a holiday in that had espn.
  20. Yeah but last year doesn’t have anything to do with this year.
  21. Last year they did. This year though, it just may be that they are playing teams like Warren, they don’t seem to be trying the short gains like they have in the past. This is just from the little bit I’ve watched of their games this year.
