Hardin by whatever they want. Hate to say that with tons of family on the Deweyville team but with the clips I seen on from the Cushing game, Deweyville may have a long year ahead of them.

Cross town rivalry games are always up in the air and make me nervous. That being said OF takes the trophy back home. OF by 9.

Very possible! It’s hard to tell with their weak pre-district opponents. Lots of returners and put up one heck of a fight against Palestine Westwood last year in Bi-District. But Westwood was missing their head coach who was out on suspension.

Man you sure our bitter. LOL. Dominating?!? I wouldn’t call beating a returning 1-9 team Warren and a 2A-D1 Dominating. Last year there strategy against Orangefield they ran 3 plays outside the ends and everything else was up the middle. Thats all I am saying is they are running to the outside more this year. For longer gains not just trying to get 3 yards at a time to control the clock. But it’s ok I’m obviously not going change your mind. And I’m not changing yours I’m guessing only time will tell. And I’m really not in any position to say I’m right I’ve never even played football but I did stay at a holiday in that had espn.

Last year they did. This year though, it just may be that they are playing teams like Warren, they don’t seem to be trying the short gains like they have in the past. This is just from the little bit I’ve watched of their games this year.

Last year they also lost their best player in the Orangefield game. And he was out for a game or two after that and they still came in third last year. I don’t agree that last year has nothing to do with this year. If there are remnants from last years teams there’s experience and skill returning.

They were the only challenger last year in district. They matchup well against Breaux’s offense and defense. I hope you are right. I like a really good hard fought game but I’d like to keep a good 2 touch down lead for my nerves.

I feel pretty confident in my knowledge of the teams in the district. I nailed the order early last year in my picks for this district as well. I expect the same order as last year the only unknown is Hardin with a lot of returners who played well against Westwood Palestine In Bi district. But I expect Coldspring to control the clock and win that one. Orangefield EC CS Hardin.

I think Coldspring may go in third with Hardin and Anahuac fighting for fourth.

I will be watching this game very closely. I expect it to be a good one and also wondering how Coldspring is going to compare to Orangefield. They put up a heck of a fight last year and with the big boys upfront that may be a problem for Orangefield. I can see them matching up better than others in the district.

Yeah with Menard out and then Sandoval getting hurt right before half and coming out with no pads. This hurt our defense.

I really don't think our offense will struggle with the run or pass. They all seem to be working well together and all the skill players are hyped up and ready to win, but did get some disturbing news from my son that a few of the starting defense have said that we are going to lose because our offensive line can't block. We haven't had that mentality since the Bridge City game. Sounds like a few of our players our ready to blame a loss on someone else. If we can prevent our team from turning on itself we will win. But with this information and the fact that we are 0-2 against Schools with birds as the mascot im changing my prediction to Orangefield by 3 points.

I have our Fighting Bobcats by 2 possibly 3 touchdowns in this one. They do have the size in the trenches but are slow to fire off. Their little pass in the flats will get them some yardage but only until they enter the redzone. My opinion we give to much cushion trying to prevent the deep passes but that gives up the flats. We do have our number 9 on defense who put a little strain on his knee against Buna and isnt practicing but i heard he would be ready by friday. We also lost one defensive line men to grades but his back up is just as good. Going to be a fun game glad we got the home side the visitor side at Wildcat stadium is pretty small and we travel pretty well. Go Bobcats!!

If Coldspring is healthy I think they win this one by a touchdown.

Max preps has set y’all as playing Diboll already 🤦‍♂️. I think they will have a three way tie with Fairfield if Teague beats Diboll not sure who’s scored the most points of those three.

Im picking HF by 7. Only because of the home field advantage and the fact that my wifes a huge WOS fan and alumni and that makes the game more interesting for me. LOL

I thought Palestine Westwood would play Columbus round 2? Not sure they would win that one would be a good game though. Figure Orangefield would see Cameron second round. But haven’t looked at last nights games in those districts. First round against Teague should be a blow out. Can’t overlook them though they did beat New Waverley 28-7 and we played them close. On the other hand coach Breaux was punishing the starting o-line that game for playing bad against Woodville. We also early in the season before things started clicking.

Problem with the deep run is Columbus and Hitchcock in the same region. But if we keep getting better you never know.

We started out trashy and I apologize for our fans. We had several booing EC on their run out before the game even started. A lot of our fans are classless. There were some poor calls from the refs but we booed a time out because so many of us don’t know anything about football. The same fans were screaming throw a flag ref and then 2 plays later yelling let the boys play ref when we get called for a penalty. And the cussing at refs is just as trashy and immature as imit comes. That being said our boys still persevered and pulled out the win. Go Bobcats
