Silsbee is always overrated, WOS is no where close to where they were under Hooks and Thompson, and PAM is so poorly coached(maybe why they folded the tent this past season). None of those teams will get you ready for the tough district they are in I see they have WOS and Silsbee. I guess they will try and get LCM, Lumberton, or United for the other and we wonder why they can’t compete! n

Can anyone give me a valid explanation as to why the Nederland Bulldogs rarely schedule tough non district opponents that will get them ready for district?

I take it that Nederland will once again play 3 non district teams that will not get them ready for district

Neumann got more respect that Barrow due to a much better record If you watched Nederland the past 2 years under Barrow, they looked like a weak 3A team playing a 5A schedule. In other words they were absolutely horrible!

If they choose the one from L-town, it will soon be worse than the previous staff. If you talk to his assistants they will tell you that he knows little about football and is an extremely weak AD

You can rest assured if they were good I would certainly agree and post it and be happy with it. As of now they are not and IMO people need to know it. Especially the new AD or if it HS , the administration Lamar’s FB hire seems to be a good one, however both basketball teams, softball, and baseball hires are not getting the job done at Lamar

I noted that they are a bad basketball team and they are. I noted that they competed better under Price and they did. For some unknown reason you think that 20-58 is a good record. I take it you also think the women’s basketball coach has a better record than Harmony and the softball coach has a better record than Bruner. Some of you simply need to realize that these programs are not very good. The Bulldogs were not very competitive They got blown out by every good team they played and also PAM who we saw choke like Prescott FBM was not very good. Name a good team that the Bulldogs beat! You can’t because there wasn’t one

They better play tremendously better, if they are going to be competitive this upcoming season. They had one of the worst defenses I have seen in many years the last 2 seasons. I sure hope they get a defensive staff that can turn that awful defense around in a hurry Next thing that must happen, is to teach the offensive line to block, receivers how to catch, and most of all teach a QB how to throw These phases have been missing for quite a while and that is why they have not been able to compete

Well Aggies are we, I see the same Lamar basketball team as the past years under Brooks. It’s pretty sad when you can’t beat a team that is 3-12. I am sure there will be several excuses made for these Cardinals though. Let’s face it, they are a bad basketball team. They played better under Price

Dallas needs many things to get back to winning. They talk about the secondary coach being very good and yet that is one of the worst secondary’s in the NFL. I personally do not see 1 player there that is a quality player. You may say Bland, but if you watch closely he gets beat more times than not. Next they must find a LB’er coach and get rid of #14 and #33. They have got to be 2 of the worst LB’ers in the NFL. Dan Quinn is not a good DC. Offensively, the OL is extremely poor. I would fire that coach as well and the majority of us know that Prescott chokes in big games. They are simply going to have to rebuild and do a much better job in the draft. This is going to take a few years and yes as long as Jones is in charge it will not happen The last thing I have to say is that Belichic is not the answer. Jones will not leave him alone to get the job done

Very good start for Lamar in a very weak conference, however much better than the last several seasons. May actually wind up in the middle of the pack. That would be a plus

Well we will just have to agree to disagree on this subject. I think their defensive front is good, however I think their inside LB’ers and secondary are weak areas. Hopefully they will do good in the playoffs I am hoping they can get to the championship round vs SF The main problem I see is an OL that will not allow them to run the ball

I pay attention to the entire game and I am about wins and losses. You also need to remember that the Cowboys have only beaten 2 good teams this season and their road record is not very good

I said Vanderbilt Esch was a good leader on the defensive side with a high intelligence of lining people up and he played hard, however these stats you produced are nothing to write home about. A good guy and good character, just an average LB’er

Vanderbilt Esch was a very good leader and lined people in the right spots, however he was an average LB’er whose career is unfortunately over. Sighs so so player. Dallas has not have very good inside LB’ers in several years

The defensive problem is that you rarely see #’s 14 and 33 make a play. They always seem to be misaligned and attack with the wrong shoulder or get get destroyed by OL and the secondary is way too soft. The run defense has been bad mainly due to where are those 2 LB ‘ers I mentioned The defensive front is good. They simply must draft good inside LB’ers
