The gov is always the answer...smh.  How about you do these things, don't wait on Ted.

I guess I look at it from my own perspective, I didn't need anything from Cruz...have fun in Mexico.

    Senators deserve vacations too.

If I had the resources Ted did I would but I’m not US Senator. I did make meals for families, have families without power over and help transport people to a local church and that’s more than Rafael did. The government is the answer because my taxes pay their salaries. I really don’t understand your infatuation with a political party, if they screwed up they screwed up, stop making excuses for them.

He only screwed up in the minds of folks that care about this.  I never understood the attitude of those that would get upset when Bush, Obama, Trump would play golf or go on vacation.  They can still do their job, just like Cruz can in Mexico.

The only difference is he hasn’t done anything to help Texans before the storm it after the storm. I may be wrong but I haven’t seen anything.

All he could do is push for disaster relief and that’s already been done. He can’t go and work on power lines or generators or fix busted pipes. Oh, wait, he can go help pour water on the already frozen windmills and solar panels the dumba__ libs are saying they want to start using for our powers sources.

AOC raised 1 million dollars for Texans yesterday and Ted raised not one penny. There are things he could’ve done besides being in Mexico.

If you think it's up to a Senator to personally help you and your family through a crisis, and it's not your responsibility - you're lost.

Name one thing Joe Biden has done to help Texas?

Ted Cruz should go back to Cancun and ride a Parasail with a huge MAGA sign on it - while smoking a $1,000 cigar with no mask.

Joe Biden literally offered federal aid for Texans yesterday.

  5. Ok, last thing I’ll post because so everyone can have a productive day. There were numerous states who went through a once in a lifetime winter storm and all of those other states faired WAY better than Texas. I’m not really sure the infatuation with AOC on this forum but it’s kind of creepy that she always get drug into the conversation. I’m a lifelong GOP voter but I’m not handcuffed to them or believe the blatant lies that they trick a lot of the people on this forum with. You guys have a nice day and stay warm.

They need power to run like everyone else.  Pipelines don't freeze up or buckle in cold weather.  Weather like this can cause lots of problems in the plants mainly associated with the instrumentation.

Why do you think this is the fault or responsibility of gov?

Because we are the only state with a separate power grid who is run by people who don’t even live in Texas. Our Texas governor and legislator are the ones to ok this disconnect. So yes it’s their responsibility.

Says the guy who thinks pipelines buckle in cold weather...lol.

You didn’t answer the question. Why were 49 other states prorated but not us? And I admit pipelines can’t buckle in the cold I was wrong about that. But the equipment to extract natural resources were the ones to buckle.

6 hours ago — An ERCOT report on generating capacity listed the top sources of power in the state: Natural gas (51%) Wind (24.8%) Coal (13.4%)

I believe your off on your numbers Bro. 24.8% is not the same as 10%, huge difference. There’s your Google data.  Question: How long have pipelines been running through Alaska and Canada? How cold does it get in Alaska and Canada? Google it an maybe you’ll figure out what I am getting at.

So if natural gas is so superior to wind energy why was it compromised as well? Is it AOC’s fault? Like I stated above our state government and their incompetence is the reason we are in this position. Every other state went through the same storm and many much worse than we had it. Their wind turbines and natural gas resources weren’t compromised. Why is that you think?

The oil wells and pipelines didn’t freeze and it’s not the responsibility of Texas government to winterize refineries and chemical plants.

My article about aoc was to point out her ridiculous statement the the new green deal would have spared Texas from the rolling blackouts.

So if they didn’t freeze or buckle due to the cold conditions why didn’t they continue to operate?? Your logic makes no sense.

  10. You guys are incorrect. Texas is run by 90% fossil fuel and 10% turbines give or take. Not only did the turbines freeze but so did the oil wells and pipelines. AOC isn’t to blame it’s the Texas government who is incompetent because none of our material was winterized. I know you probably won’t believe what I just said and you will call it “fake news” but a quick and simple google search will tell you I’m right.

Personally, I really don't have an issue with the dunk at the end of the game. But it's kind of an unwritten rule of the game that if you are dribbling out the clock with a double digit lead and the opposing team is allowing you to do so, then you don't take a shot at the last second.

Not saying this was the case here because I was not there.

A little sportsmanship doesn't hurt anyone.

Yes and I understand that as well. But to say that it's horrible sportsmanship is a reach. Frowned upon, yes.
