I had a closer view than being "caught up in the hype". It is not uncommon for a 14 QB year old to have a bad game against a team like Diboll. Be interesting to see if he gets better with more experience.

Not really any spectacular QBs in the district. But know for certain that Kavian Bryant is the best athlete and will be the best QB for the next 3 years. He is a Freshman and has only played a total of 5 varsity games. He will have a few learning opportunities this year.

CS had 3 possessions in the first half. Scored TDs on two of them. Scored TD on all but one drive in the game. Bad penalty ended the one drive. Crockett was never in the game. Games are always 4 QTRs. The next 3 games will tell the tale.

Definitely have “the same problem in Bellville” of “winning a lot of games” and “scoring a lot of points”. BV has one of the top coaches in the state. What kind of offense do the teams that lose to BV run?

Yes, “shame on LH for not throwing” and “scoring more points than any team in 5A”. Coaches should be “ashamed”. Especially for “winning and making deep playoff runs for the last two decades”. You should write them a letter. They would cherish your expertise.

You have identified the coaching problems with play calling. Do you think those “0” experience RBs carrying out their fakes and blocks impacts the performance? In the Slot T? Or just poor coaching? What plays do you think the coaches should call? 200 series? 300 series? 100s? Which plays do they not call?

Not going to be an "easy" win for either team. Kirbyville is much better than last year. This game could go either way. A chance for KV to show they are on the pathway back to contention in the District.

Tatum QB is a spectacular athlete. He is going to play LB at LA Tech.

They are not 1-3. Tatum lost to Center and Daingerfield. the Pitt game was called for weather with Tatum leading. Tatum then beat West Rusk. Center and DF would likely run Lumberton off the field and Tatum took them both to the wire.
