Newton's QB still out, starting running back still hobbling on bad ankle. Need prayers for our QB. Praying that his problem is not serious.

Is this political or is this disinformation. or is there other disinformation like who's on first.

What I understand from the players is that Newton likes to run out of a tight wing or a tight slot. They told me that Newton likes to flip the wing or slot at the line of scrimmage. When Newton does that both players will line up on the line of scrimmage and instead of staying in the wing or slot. When that happens it becomes a illegal formation to throw out of. Therefore the strong side Corner-back and Strong Safety doesn't have to cover anyone and can blitz.  That is only one of number of ways they said they telegraphed the play. I hope yall get these issues worked out and see yall at state again. But it will be a tough road though East Bernard at has only allowed like 75 points all season.

Wing back or slot back .Spent  way to much time on this, want do it again

Don’t know of any formation that is illegal to throw out of, to the best of my knowledge every formation has to have seven men on line of scrimmage and four off the line with everybody off the line eligible plus the last one on each end of the line being eligible. That is how you get a tackle eligible by not having anyone on the line outside of him and tell the ref.

I never was saying you couldn't pass. I was saying that if you switched two of your halfbacks to the line of scrimmage having nine offensive lineman legally, you will lose two receivers  each time you do this. That could have the defense blitzing every time knowing that it would be two less people to have in pass coverage. Unless I am wrong and I don't think I am ,rules for offensive linemen are  that you have a minimum of 7 and the outside person on each side of offensive line is an eligible receiver. Whatever, I saw exactly what  northtexasfootball.com said and I am through. Get a laugh out of it

Draw it up and post it, we'll let you know

I really don't know how to draw it up. I do know that when the slot-back or wing back gets on the line of scrimmage it covers up whomever is on their inside or if they are on the inside they are covered up. They would just be lineman and not be able to go out for passes. I know it is clear as mud the way I put it  and that is why I sent Northtexasfootball.com quote.

    Newton poster being incognito.

Would it matter who is saying what, if this information is actually good information ? I just want Newton to be on a level playing field and if the other team knows that out of certain formations all options are not open to Newtons playbook. You send two blitzers  and the offensive line is immediately outnumbered on what to block. Just back the backs off the line of scrimmage (same allignment just backed up into HB positions.) problem solved or am I wrong.

No I believe y'all had the better talented players. Yalls D is amazing and we couldn't move the ball on y'all very well. Yalls O is what sucked we knew what y'all were running. I don't think it matters how many kids we have unless you are looking for an excuse. Everyone you played in the per season was bigger than Newton.

Thanks, I will relay this to a coach and if you have anymore nuggets  of wisdom that might help keep defenses honest against us,  I sure would appreciate it.Thanks, I appreciate it.

Im from Gilmer, our coaches knew the play book and our players saw every play coming. If Newton does anything this year it will be on the back of their defense. The OC is telegraphing every play. It looks like other teams are figuring it out now as well not just us. Hemphill, Anderson-Shiro, and New Diana.

Please, tell me how we are telegraphing  every play and I will relay it to one of the coaches. Man, that would help us to the tune of 35-55  points per game . It would really help us and we probably want play each other again for several years if ever again. We all agree, to far away. Again, give us some tips, are they intercepting our signals or are we doing something with our alignments. Are we just to repetitive. I am confused. Just let us know and that will help

From the highlights I've watched,  Troups quarterback likes to stand in the pocket and pick his receivers. Deason , vess seems to be his favorite targets. I'd be surprised if he gets that much time. He'll take of with it as well sometimes, by design. Running backs don't seem to be that fast or very big. If Newton gets every one back and can hold on to the football and limit the penalty yards. They should roll.

To many if's in there for me, I hope they play aggressive football and if (if again ) they play aggressive, we will win.🤞

  10. I believe that the Lumberjacks plays pass first and let the front defensive line do there thing, all will work out good. Does Diboll have many going both ways, the Yoemen try not to have any or many and they will try to wear a good team down where they can take over in the 4th quarter. Good luck Lumberjacks, picking Diboll by 10.

Yes ,starting Quarterback was unable to play and #24 Sylvester got injured in 2nd quarter. They just played out of sink, definitely not like the first 4 games this year. Probably banged up a little also. Qb & #24 changes the dynamics of Newton or just my opinion.

I'm afraid pewitt is too much for the bulldogs. I wish it weren't so, but I don't think they can beat em.

Always a chance, that why they play the game and have a play-off system. I would bet that no more than 50% of the #1 teams in state as of today actually win state. Wierd things happen in the play-offs.Always a chance.

let us not forget diboll is not only number #1 in 3A in PA but in the entire state of Texas, I have a hard time believing Franklin is going to score more than 1 touchdown.

Let that go to your head and you will be licking your wounds come Saturday. Franklin is good and if Diboll plays to their ability, they will win but if they just show up they will not  be district champions and you can take that to the bank.

Oh wow!! Someone at the game. Is Hemphill good or did Newton just play bad in the 1st half? Based off what you saw, do they have a state championship caliber team?

I think Hemphill has a better team than there record. As for Newton, they didn't seem to have all cylinders clicking. Probably some Hemphill and some of that swollen head. I didn't see the offense really click much the first half. The defense looked descent but the Hornets had two running backs that could take it to the house if they got a opening.Hemphill was better than I thought. Pretty good athletes. We didn't look what we are ranked to me. They had to much other than football on there minds or just what I thought.
