i feel liike we shouldn't count out any team that has heart as E C does. we had a hard fought game against a good C-C team

until they ran out of gas. C-C is a good team and i think E C will be also.i think both programs deserve respect.

For all you Newton haters and Barbay haters I will tell you this.  Barbay has a way of saying things that come off bad sometimes like we have not played anyone very good yet.  I played for Barbay and was a blue chip that had many articles and was pursued by many schools. I did play college football and in Texas football magazine Curtis was quted as saying I could be a good player but I was not their yet.  I was all-state,all-distic,and named to the greater houston team. Barbay's level of thinking is very different than the average coach if he says a player and or team is ok they should take it as a complament, if he says they have not played anybody any good it is not disrespect they just have measured up to what he considers good.

the newton-daingerfield game. this game definetly had some slober-nocker hits from both teams and was close to the end.we knew it would be for state and no one else came close to beating daingerfield in the play-offs. i hate we lost but  both teams knew they had been in a war . we had our chances.[ good game, good teams ]

Good news for the newton fans, I heard from a reliable source that  W. T. has pulled his name from the list.

I'd hate to see there bad guys. this sounds like a story that I read in the good book where Romans fed the Christians to the lions. wonder how those parents who won would feel if their child was on the other team. I have watched football for 45 years and I don't think I have seen a worse officiated game!  Not sour grapes, just bad officiating.  Should be turned into UIL.
