Last night I watched the History of the Eagles on CNN, Parts 1 & 2. Fascinating and entertaining documentary. A must see for even the casual Eagles fan. RIP Glenn Frey.

Right, especially this one! Any college preseason polls will have the usual teams. Notre Dame, USC, Michigan and Ohio State, Bama and FSU will ALWAYS be there (with or without merit). Surprised to see Baylor in there so high, but then again, it is a pre-preseason useless poll. Only idiots like us pay any attention, but at least we recognize it for what it is. It's gonna be a long wait for the next Gameday....

I'm not sure any other team in college football could've beaten Clemson last night. Saying that, if Clemson played in the SEC, especially the West, I don't believe they'd be coming into that game undefeated. Anyway, congrats to Bama and Clemson. That us what a National Championship should look like!

I pretty much agree, Pats, except I'm not sold on the Chiefs QB. Alex Smith is just a little less hoyerible than the Houston QB. KC also has better coaches. The Texans went as far as they could with the personnel they have. They will have to make some moves to be legitimate playoff contenders. After the loss against Miami, they bounced back very well and did the best they could. I can't say the same about the North Texas team...

This game will be much better than the preliminaries. While mobile QBS have given Bama fits in the past, I'm sure that Saban has an answer for that... The Tide will roll, and I hope they roll big. I'm ready for some SEC dominance for awhile!

Hoyer got his bell rung when? 3 weeks ago? He may need to reconsider his career options. Weeden did enough to maintain the win. The defense put the Titans on the mat and they didn't let up until the 4th qtr. IF they can do that against the Jags remains to be seen. Gotta pull for them though!

Buddy, with the Titans and Jags left, you can't see them winning one of those games? I know they are still the Houston Browns, but they ought to be able to take the Titans, and with a little luck, maybe the Jags.

While Norman is one of the best cover corners in the NFL, that mess was uncalled for. I mostly blame Beckham, but if it was my call, both players would be suspended for a game.

I didn't really mean it as gloating. As a Texan, I hate to see both our premier programs in such a mess. I honestly believe both teams would be ok if the big donors and reagents stayed out of it. I'm anxious to see both ships righted. As a T-shirt fan, I guess it's gloating to say Roll Tide!

No burgers, Lacy is eating Cowboys!

C'mon guys, your anti-Bama bias is showing! Yeldon did well intil he got hurt. Lacy was doing great until he missed curfew. The only real bust here is Richardson. Derrick Henry would be a success on any team, as well as McCafferty. Both of these guys play hard. I can't honestly knock either player at all. I still think the Heisman is A QB award, but we will find out soon enough.

I don't understand why people are losing their minds over Trump suggesting we stop immigration for a little while. What is insane is our President advocating the solution is more gun control and tolerance... Again, I'm no Trump fan. I hope something positve spawns from all of this.

While I'm no Trump fan, nor a fan of political correctness; the thing that jumps out to me here, is that is at least Trump is looking out for the American people. (In this instance) Political correctness will NOT allow the other candidates to be this bold. While I hope that Trump is not the Republican candidate, these brash statements make other candidates get on one side of the fence or the other, and allows us to see who THEY really are.

They're calling it the Baylor rule. It's a good rule... It remains to be seen if the Big 12 will play with the big boys or become Conference USA.

Cowboys fan, or not... That was one ugly ballgame. Jon Gruden almost made it unbearable.

If I had a vote it would be Henry. If I were to bet it would be Watson. Easy to make a case for any of these guys.

The Pats are beatable. But I can't see my Houston Browns doing it. I just hope the Houston D gives Tom Brady a really bad day.
