Yes I agree. I used coaches a and c, not b... for a reason. B & W don't matter to me. Bring it back, 33? Have we lost the culture of WOS football in recent years? Or is it the major culture change across the nation that is driving change in so many areas. Discipline included.

People want to know because they vote for these board members to make these tough decisions. For example, if coach "A" has a proven record as a leader and a winner, but is passed over for an inexperienced coach "C". Some would like to know the reason for the decision. BTW, only property owners pay taxes, but even they don't get a vote if they have moved out of the district. I know many members here don't reside within WOCISD. But that doesn't mean they don't still bleed blue and silver.

Key word there is "employees". Not sure how much protection for applicants. This is almost guaranteed to be political. We want to make sure the board hires the best possible candidate, period. When the announcement is made, people will say show us the list of applicants. And if someone else has been passed over, then we'll see more petitions. I've seen many political signs going up around town, but nothing for school board yet. Hopefully they get it right. But I see no clear cut winner, lose-lose situation. And the ones who will suffer are the kids. It's a shame that I don't have more confidence that the program will continue as we have all come to expect. 112%

This is it exactly. We are not in need of rebuilding. If we bring in some outsider who has a proven record, I'm all for it. But it can't be an assistant that works for Todd dodge or Reginald samples. I'm thinking know more along the lines of a recent state championship coach looking to move up to a bigger school. Edit I'd be in Arlington all week if I was in charge of hiring the new coach.

Has nothing to do with the game being called early. I was there. What I saw was not a typical Mustangs team. There was an obvious lack of leadership at the top.

For your consideration, he's coaching in a military town. Never know who's gonna return, or get transferred to another base in mid-season. I think at one point they were ranked last season. His first year there, 0-10. So I can see a turnaround for them
