Behind closed doors there will be

Careful there. That's almost racist based on what is considered racist now days. Kinda like someone calling Hickman, Notorious B.I.G. Not my words, just an example.

@dj We seem to be the only ones that saw the lack of leadership week 1 vs Nederland. I've been told that Dyer was in command with CT being in hospital. Why didn't the "Coach in waiting" lead the team that night? That was a mess of a game to say the least. I was sitting couple rows behind Pookie and "Steve harvey", sorry I don't know his real name, but u probably know exactly who I'm talking bout. They argued the whole 1st half about how everyone says its CT fault when things don't go right. Who's fault was it that night? Who's fault will it be next season? I hate to bring politics in this. But its like how they still blame 45 for Biden's problems.

There won't be a mass exit to drop below 3ad1. But LCM being open for low income may grow exponentially.

The problem most Mustangs have is the way the hiring process went. Everyone knew Hickman was the predetermined choice and that nobody else had a chance. Including the other coaches on staff that have been there for longer. The experience factor may not be too much for Hickman to overcome. He has been here for 6 years and likely learned more under CT than he did as Silsbee DC. 112% committed to whoever the new coach is. Nothing is set in stone. But the agenda for Monday's board meeting will make it official. There's a chance for citizens to speak, and I believe some will have much to say on this issue. Another thought... with all the racism claims being made recently. Perhaps CT said, "here you go, I'm out, have fun". The only thing against that is the man has so much pride in what he and others have built here. I can't see him handing over the keys to the bus knowing it's heading for a collision.

Idk. Posted without thinking. Maybe it's Scarborough. But u understand what I'm saying.

This is it exactly. Maybe a lil birdie gave him a heads up. But the guy is smart enough to see the writing on the wall. More money, less politics... genius.

Dyer gonna retire in May. Pierce could stay. But I believe the deciding factor could've been that he wouldn't bring in his own staff. We'll see. As for the time frame for achieving success... he shouldn't need more than 1 or 2 years. These sophomores, juniors next season, will remember what they've been taught since flag football. The real question is, how much will change? First things first, I'm ready to see the schedule he puts together. Don't see him wanting to play Nederland 1st off. Gotta start with a win. Maybe Houston Kashmere?

Opinions are like... they all stink.

A search reveals it could be his middle name. Also his link in account shows he is the defensive coordinator at Silsbee. I guess yall professional people don't keep up with that one anymore?
-
I heard nothing official as of now

SMH... This sure went sideways today. CB just pushing buttons like usual.

30k views and counting

Maybe. Since we're thowing hypotheticals out there to see what sticks... What if he's on a different list for a rival school?

I went back and looked at the previews, Hebert was ends coach

Assistant principal WOS Girls track coach WOS LBs coach WOS Defensive coordinator Silsbee Girls track coach Silsbee Don't know much about college or HS? Anyone know anything?
-
If Hickman is currently the assistant principal, maybe that is the hold up.

Could've been done years ago

Sure the idea sounds good. So does castration. The point is, we as voters shouldn't be influenced by campaign promises that never have a chance. Show me one politician in favor of congressional pay cuts and term limits. That's the one we need.

Condolences to his family and all of Jasper. He called some great games in those 40+ years.
