  1. That sounds horrible. We need to push our state legislators to protect our student athletes. Full coverage under the UIL should be the norm. Not just for the gridiron, but all sports for all genders. Dade Phelan should be getting some calls about this.
  2. He's a machine. We've done ok with him so far. But got real lucky too. Make someone else win it. I'd give him the 4 finger salute.
  3. June 23rd Pressly blew a save in NY. Giving up 4 in the 9th and judge's walk off rbi. June 26th Martinez gave up 3 in the bottom of the 10th. Judge 3 run walkout to the bleachers in left center. Wow... thats they're season I guess. Judge been carrying them. Heard the New Yorkers behind me talking about him leaving at the end of the season. They weren't just Yankee fans from Texas. They flew down to see it. Said was cheaper to fly and stay the night, than buy tickets up there.
  4. 7-2 this season. So that just seems wrong. But he is an expert. Guess they took the lead in the 8th or 9th. Maybe one was a judge walk off.
  5. Yes. This is actually true. No more North Shore vs BISD. Or Newton vs Kountze. Paraphrasing an old retired coach. "Sorry guys, the easy girls have left already." The metrics for choosing games have gotten tighter as the season goes. Playoffs should be interesting too.
  6. Think he set all kinds of rushing records in California youth football. So probably where he went. #20... think they both were. Mallet wears the same number now and also reminds me of him.
  7. Steen, you were right, was one of fastest RB I've ever seen. He was a key part of the championship run in 87 as a freshman. Playing behind Terrance Brown he wasn't the featured runner. Terrance set the all time season rushing record in 87. Overtaking Kerry Franks Sr. Then broke his own record again in 88. If Steen wouldn't got hurt in the 87 championship game, I believe he would've ran for 2000 the next season. @dj?
  8. Lol. How long til coach Smith retires?
  9. Like trying to tell your significant other they need a gym membership. "Who u callin fat?"
  10. Same Backe that pitch for Astros. I remember he was from Galveston.
  11. Great game. Had some Yankees siting behind us. Smh what a joke.
  12. Im in the upper deck behind home plate. Great view
  13. It's quiet. Too quiet...
  14. Fart smeller. Overselling the chance to be 2nd. At least we still control our own destiny. Needing help from an adversary to make the playoffs just seems like a cheap way to advance. Lol says the guy whose team hasn't missed out since 03. I don't need a "one and done" t shirt. I got a few from Dallas that aren't even faded yet. WOS 112%
  15. I found a way around that subscription thing too. Get "Smart News App". You can read any subscription based media article. May not have all the features and links, but it works great.
  16. Yea i hate that too. Try this one [Hidden Content]
  17. Week 9 Silsbee Tiger Band Vs Hamshire-Fannett Longhorn Band [Hidden Content]
  18. Imagine the story. Two teams decide to tie and both become the real winners.
  19. Sorry bud I can't get out of work 2 times this week. It was either this game, or nose bleed seats at ALCS gm 1. I remember the visitor side being completely packed too. When we made the catch and then the FG, I thought the stands were gonna fall. That place was rocking... literally.
  20. Something tells me this wont be a sellout.
