Was told, Tigers had a good week of practice, lots of full pads and contact, even up to yesterday. SETX tough. Never know what highschool kids are gonna do, and Birds could win, but if Tigers clicking, should take this one.

QB has done a good job of making his read and getting rid of the ball, probably dont realize, but Tigers oline gave up the first QB sack for the season Friday night. Thats one in 13 games. Very good for an Oline that has, 175lb, 175lbs,175lbs, 235,and 250lbs guys, and couple play both ways. One Sr, and 4 others that either started or played a lot as Soph. last year. They will have one slot to fill next year, but have some very large kids coming up from the 8th and 9th grade to pick from.

Torching, would have been , if coach had thrown the ball in the second half, as all 11 defenders were on the line of scrimmage. Tigers kept the ball for over 5 min , twice just running the ball. Keep the clock moving so everybody couuld go home and get dry.lol

Im sure they will, but last kick return, was mostly freshman in, getting to play. And the biggest thing is,dont kick it to the guy going to TEX T. lol

Might be noted that Miller had 103 plus fever thurs, no fever Game day , but kinda woozy I would imagine.

game wont be close if the weather is good. Last two games Youve watched a spread passing team having to run the ball, to win.

JMO, The thing that separated WOS from the rest of the 409, was Cornell's continuation of the overall attitude and discipline, in the program. The kids bought into it, which was in my opinion made for a very special place. His defensive philosophy and the talent to go with it was dominating. He is gone, and all that with it, WOS will have talent, and they will have good years and bad now, just like everybody else. Booking tickets for Dallas every year, with no second thoughts is over, done with, your just another SETX team.

Afraid this game is gonna b closer than people might think, Columbia will try and shorten the game with wing T, and The Tigers are physically beat up from the tough Jasper game. Hopefully they can be back full strength in two weeks for the rematch with WOS. lol

Your right that might be a barn burner, but Cuero is really untested at this point. There coming out of a terrible district. Giddings, La Grange, Caldwell , not what they used to be at all.

Well, scores dont always tell the story. They were very much in the Silsbee game till MIller comes out of the ambulance and turns into Superman. And they were one pass away from beating HF. WOS is loaded with athletes that usually play extremely hard. If they come out on the field expecting to win, they will. Dont get me wrong, I would like to see them exit this Tourn, cause if they beat Bellville, they may be unstoppable.

This game is the first of two steps headed to 3d round to play Jasper again I'm afraid

If the kids play like they did against Silsbee and HF, and things go good early, WOS wins this one. I know that Tiger coaches are pulling for Bellville, that ought to tell u something.

Bulldogs Def is good enough to beat anybody, and if they keep improving on Offense, they will go a ways. I think Sealy runs into a brick wall here. JMO

There was no guarantee that the change was going to work anyway, cause the Houston chapter might not have wanted to send a crew up to Jasper, as Jasper always uses their Homies from the Beaumont chapter. lol

Well boys and girls, this game has playoff implications . If HJ wins by 16 or more, they get to play Belville first round. As 16 pt win would give HJ the tie breaker over WOS and Liberty.

Silsbee and Jasper could loose this week , and they will still play one another for first and second. But dont see that happening.

As long as they dont water the field before the game. I'm more worried about the home boy refs, thats good for at least 2 TDs one way or the other. Hopefully the Porta Potties dont leak

You know this district could really be in a mess , depending on how it turns out. Looks like WOS needs to win by 5 pts are more to not be a 4th place team, regardless of what everybody else does. And that doesnt even guarantee they wont be 4th place.

I looked at some Liberty highlights, and they might be the best 1 and 5 team going. This game might be closer than most think? They were in every game except WOS game. They had a chance to beat Jasper, and looks like Jasper will be undefeated in district going into the Silsbee game. So keep your spurs jingling, and your saddle cinched tight, cause you never know?
