What bothers me about Giddings, is how slow the Def backs are. When they finally play someone with world class speed, gonna be a problem ! I wonder if Silsbee has any body that can run?

Looking through the archives, Silsbee only been 4 rounds in 1998, 2015, best I can tell, so yes this matchup would be big?

I can bet theres a lot more going on in these games, than people in the stands have a clue about? but I heard H-F game could have easily been over at half , something about two dropped punts? Glad my job success does not depend on a 16 or 17 year old kid ? all it takes is for one lineman or back to go the wrongway , or drop the ball and play gets stuffed, and the coaches in the stands call for the coaches head. Its amazing to me how , when a play goes for a TD, its a great play call, but when stuffed, its a bad call. Ive been ever so guilty of this myself, when getting all emotional into a game. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and be glad there are responsible adults out there that will coach and care for our kids , when they could probably be doing something else, as 99% of the men in the stands are doing.

Congrats Buffs, hope not too banged up from this physical matchup. A lot of cutting by lineman on both sides of the ball.

I did not think Giddings could beat Liberty, congrats to our Defensive Coaching. You never know what is going to happen in the playoffs with these kids, but looks to me like S Tigers are on a role? F.Y.I. Head coach is from Giddings, born there, played there, father, brother, uncles, cousins, played there, and his first coaching job was there as Varsity OL coach. Giddings went to State Semifinals his 2nd and last year there. would have liked to have been head coach there, but never got considered. I think there will be incentive to not only win this game, but make a statement? Never know how all this plays out? Our new Coach here in Giddings, has been what the Dr. ordered , bringing back discipline , and strong work ethics, which were lacking under Jones. This has been the main reason for this years success , as we do not have the athletes yall may be used to seeing , when Gidd would venture to east tx for a playoff round or two in the past? Go Buffs

when do the tickets go on sale for the Jasper- WOS rematch, kind of like dying and paying taxes, cant b avoided. not this time.

Seen both teams play, big Buff at heart, but Liberty by 4 TDS, Buffs don't have the athletes like SETX, Liberty way too physical. hope i'm wrong, Gidd will never have the ball. lol
