These kids are very competitive the loss in football to the tigers might have something to do with the basketball teams playing tough tonight 

And this is why you can’t underestimate any team someone said in a post earlier that this game will get nasty but if this was a playoff team trying to get to state the the Tigers would be in some trouble need to be ready for every team not taking nothing from WO-S but tigers should be up by a lot right now.

Tigers need to take these games and work on their fundamentals it’s alright to show out a little in front of the home crowd but execution not missing layup and free throws are what’s needed to repeat let’s take these warmup games seriously on the fundamental side and start playing like a well oiled machine.

It takes a while to get the football guys going the way the really need to I understand getting them rest but tiger football played a lot longer than expected so before you know it basketball playoffs will be here these young tigers didn’t look tired to me but I do understand what Aggie was saying 

That guy talks as if Cuero beat Silsbee down or something Silsbee self inflicted late and lost the outside run was there all night but Silsbee Coach continued to run up the middle so yeah Cuero was sweating bullets until that fumble so take the victory and be happy and go beat pleasant grove Silsbee is very young and will learn from this great experience they have all their running backs coming back next year.

How comes no one mention that Cuero lost to yoakum 30-20 this season if they found a way to beat Cuero then so can Silsbee.

Pleasant grove just kicked a field goal to beat Pittsburgh 44-41 another great game.

Congratulations to Silsbee and wo-s great season Mustangs have my total and up most respect a very classy program and a great teacher to our other district teams to model themselves after.

If Silsbee can play solid defense they may be able to hang on Wo-s still has a ton of fight in them wet field helps to negate the mustangs side to side speed but lots of football left 

Yep everyone is on the concourse where the concessions are only a handful setting in the stands this is going to be a fun game lol

Honestly guy I’m watching the weather and the lightning factor is not bad they said heavy to moderate rain then a break and then another band coming in overnight so they may be able to get this game in without a delay everyone be careful on the road

I also was told that there was an option to flip a coin but that was turned down so they want to play the game even if it takes until 2 am they will finish the game.

In past history the rain has favored Silsbee in these games with these 2 teams I always used to joke about wetting the field down before we play West Orange but the ground game and kicking game will be the key plus the turnover battle keep in mind that delayed games have resumed well after mid-night so this could be a very long and drawn out game and crowd could be a factor I believe many will go to the game but many will not interesting to see what happens.

I have my texan live subscription just got it I’m watching all the Thursday night games now so I’m set for Silsbee and Wo-s in my home praying for everyone going to the game and coming home as well as players everybody be safe.

Silsbee basketball team has the backing of a lot of higher ups it was said that static was caused by a memorial fan or parents getting behind the tigers bench shouting suck that memorial $&@ I’m not sure if people COULD  mad that Silsbee is a 2 time defending state champions and they know that this is the last year of their probation just like last year it was screen shot that some teams may try to start trouble to get the tigers disqualified from the playoffs but people from other schools should not follow this team to start trouble and I’m hearing it’s more parents that students remember when a parent at jasper punch one of our kids and broke his hand yeah Silsbee kids might jaw jack but what team doesn’t you think every team doesn’t talk smack the tigers blowing out teams on the basketball court last year sparked some of it too but Yates beats people by 80 and nothing is said about that tigers are just trying to achieve a historic goal and maybe some teams just don’t like it .

Play the game in the rain Silsbee has upset Wo-s at least 2 times in the rain once on a Friday 13 in Port Arthur ( A PLAYOFF GAME) and the other is the mud bowl in Silsbee and Newton knocked off the mustangs on a soaked field at Wo-s their season so possible advantage Silsbee in the rain category a good rain storm will definitely slow down the passing game and the tigers have a stable of running backs so I am rooting for the rain nothing serious just a steady rain Good luck to both teams.

Silsbee had Wo-s on the ropes at West  Orange  so yes I think the tigers know they let that game get away they will go toe to toe with the mustangs I don’t care how many times you play a team and lose to a team you always have a chance the next game some one has to win and some one has to lose we know this and the tigers believe they can get it done the coaching staff needs to come correct for the tigers to win this game.

I remember when coach sig benched the whole starting 5 going into a playoff game vs Port Arthur Lincoln and we lost 86-48 so coach sig  isn’t playing around you get a tech you sit out and think about it 

I had a conversation with coach Todd Sutherland he said that Silsbee basically has a 6a school playing in 4a and Silsbee only lost to the Highly ranked and very talented South Garland team rated # 2 I 6a by 5 points so this particular tigers squad can play with the big boys you don’t see many 4a teams taking on highly ranked competition like that and the tigers probably have between 5-8 players still in football this still is a championship team and have learned how to play the half court slow down games as well.

What time is this exciting game 

After tonight y’all better get to West Brook by 3:30-4:00pm if you want to get in the crowd was incredible inside and outside at the U .

Silsbee also has Wo-s on the ropes late until the mustangs came back very late and won 24-21 and we all know how good Wo-s is so Silsbee had 3 big turnovers in that game that kept H-F in that game SIlsbee and  Giddings will be a great matchup but any of th 4 regional teams left are capable of going to state at this point.

Big target on the Tigers back tigers have to stay disciplined and navigate through the woods this year to achieve the goal and win the championship take this game and learn from it get better championship are not won in November tigers will be fine and they know it.
