I think that is a big part of the issues with both Beaumont teams, lack of consistency.  Changing coaches every 3-4 years is hurting your players. Heck even for Neumann he is just now getting outright DCs in the last three years or so after a few co-championships along the way.  

1. Nederland D1 #1 seed vs New Caney 
2. PN-G D2 #1 seed vs Dayton 
3.Central D1 #2 seed vs CE King 
4. Lumberton D2 #2 seed vs Crosby 

Bu he came back in and performed.  I have respect for that young man after this game.

Read a PA news article that says Krautz has NO offers. That's a shame. Hope Lamar steps up and gets him. What a team...Morse,  Sullivan and Krautz. Mid County would fill the stands.

Sell out for a "Krautz " stop -/ slow down & I think you ' ll find out Dogs got their own Airforce . I expect another last man standing ---unless Indians are unable to slow Krautz ! I do think both defenses will be tested .

On a side note, went to see the former Ozen RB now starting Lamar freshman CB play last night. Kid (#20 now goes by Hot Rod) finished with 1 int, no pasaes were caught on him, several tackles including a decleater that left the WR with a rung bell and a key pass deflection.  Last week was slc player of the week.  Dang shame, Ozen, y'all had a player like this and under utilized him for several years, reducing him to 8 touches in big games while the underclassmen RB got the bulk of the carries.
ANYWAY, go Jags.  Let's redeem ourselves in a big win in front of a capacity crowd!

The only quit I saw in Jags was the coaching ! They abandoned the gameplan and hit the panic pass button  , when there was plenty of time to have run  the offense and see what happened ? Result 3 & outs and a battered D got no rest . #2  Dogs had long ago sold out to smash mouth , so why not load up and dare us to beat you in the air even though you know we have a deadly air  game  we really hadn't shown that and pass D may be the best part of Jag D . Just saying if it is not workin there is nothing to lose ?  Personally the panic button is something I hate and yes I have even seen that in my Dogs before ! I guess all coaches like fans get "scared" and punch the button ! 
         As far as talent your "edge" is not near as great as you think it is . Dogs have had some real special players over the last 5 years or so . Just for starters Kimler , Seay , the meats , Grogan and on and on and on etc  . So coaching plus talent plus attitude always = success .

Can't imagine what LU is doing ? Another Harrington for another 4 yrs and he brings his own fan base .  As we all know if they don't hurry I'm sure Mcneese will have a Seay . Just Seayin !!!!

Like I said earlier in the week,, always a great night sitting on the 50 on visitor side listening to excuses and how sorry the coaches are,, the looking up to the press box and complaining,,, all I can say is one thing,,, easy to complain when your in the stands,,, should of went to college and became a coach if you were so great of a coach..the guys try their best,,, just got beat by the better team,,, bottom line..I said that on here last Saturday after lumberton and central game,, no way they beat nederland,, guess I'm not as dumb as you all said....good luck the rest of the way to both teams

Central fans was calling for the coaches head.  Central have 3 running plays and 2 pass plays.  The momentum changed on that interception. #22 from Nederland was in beast mode tonight.

Defense was making tackles tonight. In any game, you are going to have missed and broken tackles, but we tackled low and wrapped up much better this week.
So sick of hearing every year how Ozen and Central are faster and more athletic than we are. Well, 5 years in a row and counting so where does it get you? Krautz?.....'nuff said.

Mayfield, your sons INT was a huge play in the game tonight. He played that play perfectly
