  1. I understand and agree with not wanting this to happen to kids, but who is going to foot the bill?  It costs alot of money to get these tests done and that doesnt mean the kids wont develop the condition over time.  How often deos this happen?  I read a billboard just north of jasper the other day that stated that a child is a victim of a homicide every 2 hours...how often does a family have something like this happen to them?  We have to be realistic people.  I understand this is a very tragic thing to happen.  But at what cost are you willing to go to having these tests done?  eventually the costs will over take the worth of the game just as it does in almost everything the government or any regulating body does.  water it down with cost until it becomes worthless.  i am saddened by what has happened over the last couple of weeks.  My son jsut played his first pee wee game yesterday.  the thought of these things has gone through my mind.  i also understand that i have done everything in my power to make sure he is as safe as i can make him without relying on someone else or someone elses tax dollars through a government channel.  the rest i leave in Gods hands.  All i am saying is that if you get a bunch of people wanting to pass all these rules and regulations upon a game which is played at its purest form, then eventually the game will no longer be around.
  2. In my Damon Wayans voice "Pop yo t***y out his mouth".  Maybe the problem with kids nowadays is that they are treated like there is nothing they do wrong and we should all be rainbows and lollipops.  Let the coaches coach and the parents parent.  they dont mix.  If Jr cant handle a little ridicule whats it going to be like when he grows up and has to go to work.  what kind of fit is he going to throw in front of everyone at McDonalds when he is told to flip the burgers faster because he is slow and the line is running around the building.  As long as the coach is not cursing, swearing, or slapping my kid around im fine with it.  yell all you want and as much as you need to get the desired result.  as they say, "what doesn't kill you only make syou stronger".  If that doesnt work then i will try to motivate him at home, or he can try out for the flag corps.

    Kville couldnt...

i doubt you would even admit it even if Kirbyville could.  why dont you crawl back in your hole and hibernate.  i mean, honestly, what problem do the people from SA have with Kirbyville.  It seems like everyone of you have something bad to say.  It's not our fault ya'll have such a poor performing program right now.
  4. before you start telling people what to and what not to say why dont you thnk about what you say.   should have versus did score is alot of difference.  you might should have scored but for whatever reason you didnt.  that's just the bottom line.  Kirbyville should ahve played better, Ford should have had more yards, cucancic should have had more receptions.   who cares!!!ya'll lost and thats just how it happened.   I can make the argument that from i was sitting it looked like the O-line moved on the play you are referring to.  Can't change the fact that the score board had a big 20 on it for Kville and a big 6 on it for Coldspring.

    K-ville crushed Coldsprings  ;D

i wouldn"t say crushed, it was a win.  But a very ugly one.  I was not too impressed with their play.  they didn't play with any fire until the mid-end of the 3rd qtr.  Haywood did very well. If a certain running back would run the ball more than their mouth like he did on the last carry of the night then it would be more impressive.
