Jasper showed they have no heart, when they got down they quit. It's one thing to get beat and that's fine but at some point you have to play with pride. Jasper has lacked heart for several years now hopefully the new coaching staff will look at who is giving 100% when things are bad, and call out the ones who are not....

Funny that this thread is so quiet, in the past it would be full of "smack" I quess neither town is sure about their team with the new coaches....I heard the 8th grade does not have a "B" team from WOS does that mean the numbers are getting smaller

Last yr Jasper swept with the 7a winning 20-6.  This year I'm predicting a blow out by the Jasper 8a, they have the potential to score 30+.....

If the qb takes care of the ball Jasper surprises and beats wos easily.  Jasper 28  wos 20

Walker has 2 int's rest of team playing great....

The big thing that jumped out vs lumberton was the need to be stronger on the "D" line..I'm not sure if it was a defensive scheme problem or a lack of strength problem..

Jasper hitters were getting the take sign on 0-1, 1-1, and 2-1 counts. Same last night but Kountze pitchers were throwing strikes so it didnt work out so well for Jasper. Anyway, maybe the coaches over in Jasper will have a little faith in their hitters tonight. I bet those boys could hit if the coach will let'em. Maybe the game wont last till midnight like it has the last 2 times. [/quote] First of all you must not have been watching very closely we were swinging on first pitch to not get behind in the count.  NO ONE sacrificed a K to run up his pitch count or was given a take sign. Jasper lead off the 2nd inning with a hit. Kountze had only 5 hits in the 1st game Jasper 4 hits 5 errors. We the Jasper coaches were making sure on OUR pitchers pitch count to save them in case of a loss. P.S. I think we have faith in our hitters our 13 yr olds have been to the state tourn the past 2 years.

Jasper wins 10 - 0 in four innings.  Jasper pitcher (Trent Bryant) was solid...almost throws a no hitter...he gave up one infield hit on a dink hit between pitcher and catcher... Look out ORWALL!

Silsbee defeats West End.... Does anyone know details???

Coach trahon coached in Jasper didn't he I think he also coaches a 13 yr old select team is this the same trahon?

Thought we could start our own District 12 page with results and upcoming games without sorting through the District 32 issues at the 10 year old level. Jasper defeated West End 11 - 1 last night.  Solid game by boys from Jasper...great pitching, good defenense, and strong hitting!  West End will play Silsbee Tuesday with the winner coming to Jasper on Wednesday night.

Same goes for Jasper @ West End Thursday night!  Big game. A great rivalry developing between these two groups of kids! Should be fun watching the rivalries develop between Dist 12 and Dist 32 winners at sectionals out of these four teams in the future...Jasper, West End, Nederland, and BC!

Jasper and West End both win big... Sets up show down at West End Thursday. Predictions???

How does Silsbee look this year? What about West End vs. North Beaumont?  Close game huh?

How about District 12 Ten Year Old scores? Does anyone know? Silsbee vs. Lumberton? Kirbyville vs. Buna? There are no scores on District 12 website, only winners....

West End has to "double dip" Jasper...7:30 tonight West End needs better pitching performance than last meeting if they hope to upset Jasper...

You guys have a very solid team...you are 2-1 against Gators though. Hopefully those two teams can meet up in sectionals...

What team are you with Faub10?  Yes the Jasper 10's are the East TX Gators...
