T-daddy

bickham is a fine O cord but he needs to surround himself with better coaching talent...imo that is a large part of being a head coach..yes stay in the spread but find a throwing qb instead of using a rb at qb... we have one of the finest baseball programs in the state so we have kids that live in this community that can throw...the 7th grade looks loaded with qb's with all those good baseball players in that age.  Bolton given a chance would probably be a better option for next years varsity team.

this coaching staff is the worst jasper has ever had in my 48 yrs of watching jasper football.  I wanted to go on the field tonight and tell the D cordanator exactly what I thought. he doesnt need to coach football at any level.. I bet bickam is ran off before christmas..

I know it was hunnington but it was great to see jasper play the way they did tonight..it reminds me of 03,04,05 when we could score at will on anyone we played, the D played hungry and the O played fast...I will be the first to say good job coaches..and players of course..

jasper vs gilmer state championship in 05 incrediable had everything including the bad call on the 2 point conversion that would have given jasper a victory...

throwing daggers at certain players no, at coaches ok their paid adults..I offered up a different D  scheme maybe the coaches are reading but I hope not, I hope they are watching film..the frustration comes from years of being a jasper fan and attending all the games for many years. coaching makes a big difference...the 06 team would score half a hundred against this years D.  This is by far the worst team in jasper for decades..

jasper did make a state tournament apperance last year with 2 starting jr and 3 soph..  kville is a joke in baseball and will continue to be this year...

wow sensitive, but the OC left last year after 1 year and the new one is young and clueless...the DC continues to run a scheme that doesnt even work at the middle school level....and yes last years team still had coach brooks finger print on it...we look like a team/coaching staff looking for an identy...our coaching staff has said we were going to hang our hat on defense but we are giving up 50 points a game and wont change the scheme, at least on offense we have went back to the spread in an attempt to improve....going into the center game we should have changed to a 50 D or a 4-3 we dont have to players to play the 3-3 and the coaches should reconize this...

based on thursday night games orangefield will have a hard time scoring against jasper.  both 7 8th and 9th grade teams posted shut outs last night.

I just hope hooks shows a little class and does'nt run the score up to much on bickem 50 should be enough...

The last time lumberton beat jasper was 1985 in a pouring rain storm.  The score was 7-6.  IMO the difference in tonights game was coaching or the lack their of, no disrespect to lumberton (alot of x-bulldogs live in lumberton now) but if you lose to lumberton and we were bigger and faster and more athletic its time for this group of coaches to look for a new career....

[/quote] You must have been watching different games than most of us.  Parker may have a slight edge in hitting, although Felts had his fair share of hits in that series, Felts is a much better defensive catcher.  Better pop, stronger arm, and had zero past balls!! [/quote] A slight edge in hitting? not even close....did you see the past balls you have to hang those on sowell.
