they have some real good young talent coming up but if those kids and parents are smart they will move to jasper.. they have a 13 yr old that throws harder than anyone on varsity..

why has kirbyville not been as sucessful in baseball like they have in football?  Is it lack of talent or coaching..seems like the same stars in football also play baseball..

lets hope its Jasper ;D

Well my opinion far what its worth is champion here in jasper we said the same thing years ago. When we ran the spread and had success we had good qb play. I think the spread is best when ran by a smart qb that is athletic. The last several years we ran the spread we had an athletic qb but failed to make good decisions and was not an effective passer.  7 on 7 is strong in the dallas area including pilot point at younger ages and this is developing better offenses.  If the golden triangle doesnt follow suit they will continue to be behind.  Gilmer is another good example.

Jasper should be ranked #1 in southeast texas..

we have all noticed jasper had terrible luck with the playoff draw 1 point seperated chapel hill being div 1 rather than gilmer but that is how it goes...kville has alot returning next year while jasper will have to reload but jasper will beat down kville again...

not past Gilmer...I do wish them luck though

After watching the 7th and 8th grade games last night, center looks to be athletic.  7th, 9th, and jv all lost last night with the 8th grade the only sub-varsity team winning.. What can we expect to see tonight at the varsity game?

My 9 yr old killed his first deer last year it was a 5 point that was aged at 6.5.  He would not have been leagal this year cause of the spread rule but we could tell in the stand he was a cull buck...my biggest complaint is we will now be allowing the cull bucks to bread our doe..People want to compare south tx to east tx quess what the truth of the matter is south tx has better minerals in the dirt than east tx, just look at the difference in soil color while driving from here to there. better minerals = bigger deer and racks.  Im glad they made an attempt but they need to leave an out like if your caught with a buck with less than a 13 inch spread then he better be at least 5 yrs old if not here is your ticket (fine) that is what leases are doing..

in jasper every doe had a buck behind her..
