Glad this thread was created, so we could see how SETX respects us !!! It's no surprise that we hadn't been mentioned in this thread. We have always been over looked by SETX because were not suppose to do great things here in Jasper. The Bulldogs are 9-0 and looking forward to another win this Friday to finish the regular season a perfect 10-0. I know we are all entitled to our opinions, but we also need to give credit were it's due. Jasper will definitely go deep and make some noise in the playoffs !!!!!

Oh, ok you're referring to #8 Burnett. Well I hope the entire team have a speedy recovery because we need them all back and healthy.

Does anyone know the status of Montavien Hunts and William Bluitt Injuries from Fridays Game against Atlanta?

Wow, from what I was told by a reliable source within the district is his lack of proper communication with his peers. He had a very filthy mouth and used foul language all the time when communicating with the kids and his coaches. He talked to his coaches like they were kids and didn't respect their decisions on and off the field. He also has used foul language while communicating with several parents as well. It appears that he has cussed the wrong person and now this is the results !!!! The current JISD administration just feels this isn't healthy, so they have decided to move forward with a new AD/Head Coach. Whether this was the case is yet to be known, but a reliable source within the district provided this information.

I HONESTLY DON'T THINK JASPER COACHING STAFF HAS MADE A SECOND HALF ADJUSTMENT THIS WHOLE YEAR !!!!  WHAT EVER THEY DO IN THE FIRST HALF IS WHAT YOU SEE THE WHOLE GAME. I'VE ALSO NOTICED SEVERAL OF THE COACHES LOOKING TOTALLY LOST ON THAT SIDELINE "NO CLUE"  THIS IS JUST MY OBSERVATION OF THE WHOLE YEAR, I COULD INDEED BE WRONG. 

JASPER HAS THE TALENT TO WIN GAMES I JUST THINK THEY'RE NOT IN THE RIGHT POSITIONS. EXCUSES ABOUT THE KIDS BEING YOUNG IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ANYMORE, ESPECIALLY AFTER PLAYING SEVERAL GAMES IN A ROW.  I FEEL THAT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVEMENTS EVERY WEEK, BUT THINGS ARE ACTUALLY GOING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION.  WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

After seeing both teams play this year I'm going to favor Silsbee in this game. Both teams are good, but Silsbee played us better and actually suppose to beat us. I just hate it for the kids they played so hard and still lost because of bad decisions. No need to go in details I just hope you'll get your coaching issue fixed. Of course I'm from Jasper and I know you'll can care less what I think, but I'm only giving my opinion. Besides WOS brags to much and when they lost to us they had nothing but excuses. Learn to give credit where credit is due !!!!!!! Good Luck Tigers and keep your heads up !!!!!! Always respect those Bulldogs !!!!!

J-dog what do you call a successful year? Jasper has upset two state rank teams and you wouldn't call it successful? I can guarantee you that there's not another team in southeasttexas that would step up to the plate and play their schedule. Honestly they could lose the rest of their games and still be classified as having a successful year. They have accomplished something no other team in southeasttexas has been able to accomplish this year. Jasper is playing just like the 2004 team that went all the way to state. Better yet if you want to pull for Chapel Hill go ahead and see how far they make it in the playoffs. By the way looks like Center has taken care of them already this year 36-7. It really bothers me when people don't give credit were credit is due. I can tell you that Jack Alvarez and Dan Hooks respect Jasper and their football program after those losses. "Now put that in your pipe and smoke it".

It's really hard to beat a team that's clicking on all cylinders Offense,Defense, Special teams, Kicker and Punter. Also Jasper has a excellent coaching staff that the kids love and respect dearly. What more can you ask for in a team? Honestly I look for Jasper to go all the way to the top and play for the 3A state championship. Good Luck !!!!! Sick'eem Bulldogs !!!!!!!!

Jasper should be alright this Saturday against the Bulldogs from Tyler. Jasper has one of the best run stop defenses in the area in my opinion. Rawls, Bronson and Rollins should have a great game at their linebacker positions. If the defensive line is able to penetrate into the backfield Jasper should pretty much wrap this one up. Offensively long as we continue in the two back set, and use our dangerous receivers we'll be fine. Good Luck Jasper Bulldogs !!!!!!!!

If you're not from Jasper i feel you should'nt even comment on this subject. We have too many outsiders tring to give their two cents and just simply don't know what their talking about. Yes i said it and will say it again "Clean house". People on this site needs to stop protecting that horrible coaching staff in Jasper. I can only imagine how Coach Brooks feels; hang in there coach.

I bought this discussion up before and for some reason it was removed from the site. Once again i say "If the shoe fits, wear it" Coach Brooks need to clean house. Jasper could not ask for a better coach and role model in Coach Brooks, but his coaching staff need to pack their bags. Too much talent and no coaches to coach. He needs coaches who care about there jobs and more importantly the kids. Too many arms folded and not enough coaching. Go get Carmichael and let him run your offense, and let Sergeant run that defense. We have lost too many games behind stupid decisions by the coaches. It really don't take a rocket scientist to see that the deuce back set is the offense set that needs to be ran. Ellis and Armstrong are gaining 10 to 20 yards per play in this set. Quick should have been at the house long time ago. Defensive coordinator is lost he don't have a clue. If a team has a passing attack Jasper is really in trouble. Sorry to be so hard on this group of coaches, but enough is enough. Plus I'm tired of people on this site saying it's the kids fault. WOS, Kirbyville, Newton, Gilmer, Carthage all of the teams have the same age range kids (16-18), so you'll can save the little comments about you can't telling kids this age to listen are what to do. I'm not tring to hear it. Once again i would really like to know if coach brooks hands are tied are what? Seems like he has yet to over turn a call are play this year. I'm sorry but that's what it seems like to me and i could be wrong. If any one know let me know? Hang in there Coach Brooks.
